Re: Season Ticket Question
Update: I don’t appear to show any credit under “on account”. So where is my 4 game amount?

Re: Season Ticket Question
Infuriatingly they've put the refund from 2019/20 in your Teamcard account, as opposed to the Onaccount.
I'd love to renew now and use my credit but no fecker is answering the phone to help me.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Bit of help here please ! I renewed in March 20 but since then I qualify for an over 65 discount, I've got myself in the account and it's showing the cost of a JHU ticket for over 65's as 258 gbps. Is there anybody who can confirm this I can't seem to find the info on the site. Thanks in advance

Thanks Darthlaw. I appear to have some points on there. So how do I spend these on my season ticket?

Re: Season Ticket Question
With great difficulty, unfortunately.
If anyone answered the phone at the club, I could find out but essentially the two systems (Teamcard and OnAccount) are not linked.
Re: Season Ticket Question
I've renewed this afternoon, plus renewed for some friends and family and found the process very easy, you just have to remember to tick the box which says... Pay from account.....

I've just renewed mine as an oldie in JHU and I can confirm that the charge was £258.

Re: Season Ticket Question
All done and renewed.
Not that surprised we are being warned about price increased for next season. I always thought it was the previous boards way of letting you know prices were going up under the new owners. Still least we have new owners, bring on next season and the next level.

The saga continues. I am now classed as “not eligible” on the season ticket renewal page. Why do they make it so difficult!!!

Without informing anyone at the time the club cleared everyone's account last year.thelaughingclaret wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 3:08 pmHas anyone else's ‘family and friends’ been erased? Luckily my loyalty points have not been deleted so thats a relief.

Re: Season Ticket Question
if you have no funds on your "on account" would that not mean you have withdrawn the funds or not paid in full? that could possibly be the reason they think you are not elligible
Re: Season Ticket Question
Yes, only people who fully paid for their 20/21 ticket can renew in ‘phase 1’ which runs from now until 23rd April.brownside192 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 4:27 pmif you have no funds on your "on account" would that not mean you have withdrawn the funds or not paid in full? that could possibly be the reason they think you are not elligible

Re: Season Ticket Question
Brownside. Yes I realise that I have not paid anything yet towards the 21-22 season and that is because I couldn’t as they closed the early bird period early 12 months ago. 30 minutes ago it would let me renew but I didn’t as a) I wanted to use my £95+ that they have on my team card (of all places) as part of the amount and b) I was suprised it was letting me do so and didn’t want £455 to disappear into thin air. Of course nothing could be so easy for Burnley FC could it? According to their recent announcement I will have to wait until the end of May and possibly pay a higher price. I emphasis again, I could not pay 12 months ago as they went off sale BEFORE THEY WERE MEANT TO! As for why the 4 games refund was not placed on account on my ticketing account but put on the myteamcard account well words fail me. I am a very unhappy customer at the moment.

Re: Season Ticket Question
What they should do is give everyone who had a season ticket in 19-20 a period of time (ideally the two weeks we missed our chance) now to buy their same seat for 21-22 before they announce any price increases. But maybe in a post COVID world we should just be happy that we have a chance to go on The Turf eventually.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Do you not have this year's payment on your account without the 4 games refund? You can only renew now if you have monies to cover it on your account.

Re: Season Ticket Question
if you read the website , people who did not renew last year can still buy, but in the next phase, you cannot buy at the moment.Whitgord wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 4:33 pmBrownside. Re: Season Ticket Question
Increasing season ticket prices, this year of all years, stinks to high heaven.
Re: Season Ticket Question
On behalf of the Burnley FC Supporters Groups i'm in the process of putting together an email to the club with a number of queries around today's information release. I've picked up quite a few above but if anyone has any further ones not covered above, please let me know asap.

But they will probably face a price increase.brownside192 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 4:45 pmif you read the website , people who did not renew last year can still buy, but in the next phase, you cannot buy at the moment.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Yes, you have to re-add them, if you read on the club website it says they are combining all logins from the different areas.thelaughingclaret wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 3:08 pmHas anyone else's ‘family and friends’ been erased? Re: Season Ticket Question
I don't think any increase in a few season tickets will pay for any signings tbh.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 5:03 pmThat might be enough for you.
Others will be different.
Re: Season Ticket Question
I don't think it's unexpected, sadly, I just don't think it should be the priority.
Any increase in revenue brought in from a price hike is likely to be much less significant in terms of the Club's overall revenue than it is likely to affect individual ticket holders. Then there's the issue of what it's spent on. Of course, it could be that the club put up prices and also look to make savings elsewhere & it is about recovering running costs but I'm afraid I am sceptical and pessimistic. At a time when new owners have lumbered us with a lot of debt, asking supporters to pick up the bill doesn't sit right.
Generally I think ticket prices in this country are outrageously high, as our wages, but appreciate that's a bigger issue, albeit a related one.
Re: Season Ticket Question
I think paying the directors' salaries and paying for the balance of the directors' shares will be first priority. But time will tell.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 4:59 pmIf they are hiking prices up, then 2 or 3 marquee signings are a must.

Re: Season Ticket Question
An increase in price, in my case, for not having the temerity to renew two weeks prior to the deadline won’t help them in the grand scheme. Even more so as I left my refund in their coffers for the past year.
I’ll happily withhold my £10 average match day spend and approximate £250 per year on shirts (which I send as gifts to friends in foreign countries), leaving them a cool £450 short per year, all for cutting off their nose for a quick buck.
They may do well to employ a little perspective.

The club statement seems to imply it has to be done online, or am I missing something?

Re: Season Ticket Question
I got 2/3 emails back in quick succession earlier, but when I asked for clarification that those who were cut off early on the deadline, we’re going to be hit with higher prices, they went quiet.
Leisure has a copy of the e-mail chain, so hopefully gets some answers as part of the supporters group.

Re: Season Ticket Question
I can't be arsed messing about with it all. I'm gonna give it a swerve for a season or 2 until it all settles down.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Bit rich to increase prices when they arguably used ST holders money in the £30m they used to finance the club purchase
