Any news on Barnes and Cork? I assume they didn't feature.

I'm guessing they didn't because neither were mentioned.

Shame. Thought they both would've been back by now. Doesn't look good for either of them as it takes time to get back up to speed once 'back on the grass'.

This three week break is killing me. I’m so bored!!

Good to hear Dyche is keeping the players match fit. I always think we look a bit sluggish after international breaks.

Agreed, however we needed this 3 week break to rest and recharge the players batteries.

If we hadnt thrown, disregarded or whatever you want to call it for the Bournemouth game we would have only had 2 weeks off, and also we wouldn't have won at Palace and subsequently been relegated.

Definitely the right decision in the end.

My concern is that Cork and Barnes won't return, there is a very high chance that both Brady and JBG will return with an injury. We will then be worse off than before the break. We need a full squad for the next 2/3 games to ensure safety

Must admit that i was worried when i saw that Iceland have 3 games in a week. Hopefully JBG won't play in them all (saw that he came on after 40 mins v Germany).

Was that not the other Gudmundsson they have in their squad?

It was. JBG was an unused sub.

Let’s hope he remains an ‘unused’ sub.

JBG shouldn't be playing international football with his injury problems
