In this country you could sue the penny giver for the full amount in legal tender - for £666 he could give you at most 885 coins -
20p in 1p (20), 20p in2p (10), £5 in 5p (100), £5 in 10p (50), £10 in 20p (50), £10 in 50p (20) then the rest in £1 coins.

What about some more in £2 coins

£2 is greater than £1 so would reduce the number of coins he could give you.

I wonder if he could stick them on a wall as reminder of something? Make a curtain out of them etc..

Looks like a civil case could be brought for damage to property - the grease stain on the drive way.

So why doesn't he just shovel them into a cement mixer hall full of water and de-greaser for a few minutes? That'd clean the lot in a few hours.
