I don't think they are under any illusions tbh and if they ever were I expect SD has cleared them up!!! We simply HAVE to survive this season and then see exactly what they intend to do about it.
PS. I'm absolutely devastated to find Pope is out!

Difficult game ahead but the way things were looking at the start of this season the situation we are in now would have been welcomed.

Not good about Pope. Thankfully the FACT that we can’t be relegated (according to some), eases this blow a little.

That as maybe but if we need to replace one of the two up front for whatever reason he's a natural forward and that's a big, big loss. We don't have that option now on the bench. I really hope we wouldn't have needed him.

Dwight must be licking his lips too with the decision to keep manquillo on the bench so no real right back. Pieters will be busy, probably not bpf.

Remember the concern when Heaton was injured and the unknown Pope came on?
