Arsenal v Everton
Protests outside the Emirates before tonight's match, clearly the Gunners fans are not happy despite the ESL being put on the back burner, and they're not shy in making their feelings known on the matter.
As for the game Arsenal are missing several regulars, including Aubameyang and Lacazette.
Whereas Everton can welcome back DCL to the fold, Keane doesn't even make the bench, so I can only surmise he's got an injury.
Given all the furore surrounding this game and Arsenal's injury troubles you've got to fancy Everton to claim the 3 points tonight and keep their own slim European hopes alive.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Is there a PL team that plays with less identity than Arsenal?

Re: Arsenal v Everton
There's definitely a problem at that club, they are so bland on and off the pitch, and Arteta isn't the answer, however the problems are much more deep rooted than just the management, and this has been the case for a long while, even the tail end of Wenger's reign was beset with in-fighting and acrimony, plus their recruitment has been dire for several seasons now, and until that side is improved they'll continue to be also-rans in the PL.

Ridiculous penalty cancelled an equally ridiculous offside. Justice

Re: Arsenal v Everton
That was an "Arsenal" penalty all over. He barely touched him..if he did. Flicked his shin pad with the very toe end of his boot and he goes down like he has had his leg snapped off...and gets it! Ridiculous.Burnley Ace wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:10 pmRidiculous penalty cancelled an equally ridiculous offside. Justice

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Blatant cheating by Ceballos, but thankfully his gamesmanship wasn't rewarded with a spot kick, although whether the offside was correct either is debatable, However ultimately justice was served eventually.

Is there a team of performing cabbage patch dolls worse than these arsenal tossers.

But you hear ex pros saying "he had every right to go down" and that along with var and this constant cheating is putting me off football in general. I can honestly say back in the good old days 60s/70s it was almost un heard of.

Pleased with that result. I reckon Arsenal will end the season in the bottom half of the table.

Hope so this will just show how ludicrous the whole ESL concept really is if one of the proposed entrants can't even finish in the top half of their own domestic league.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Now that would be an interesting development, and the Arsenal fans clearly want rid of Kroenke as demonstrated by the fierce protests prior to tonight's game.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 10:36 pmThe most interesting feature of the evening - a long-time Arsenal fan who can actually afford to buy them saying he would like to - Spotify founder Daniel Ek

You do wonder just how many of the big 6 will still be under their present ownership come 2022.
