I think 1970 and a collective journey of mankind into the unknown.

We had a nice kit. A & bc brought out their best football cards.
I'm not sure I'd want to live 1970 again though.

For me I’d be looking for mid sixties... plenty of work, a Burnley team under achieving when they finished outside the top six or seven and the likes of Stones, who, kinks, small faces, searchers etc. On nearly every week in Nelson, Burnley or Rawtenstall...

Of course those living through it may look back through less tinted spectacle lenses.

A teenager in the sixties, and it was fantastic, everything seemed to be positive.
an old mate of mine describes it as "when the world went from black and white to colour"...
not sure what he was taking at the time ;)

I think he was mainly referring to TV and tha fashion industry :D
