I'm not having that, the man's a bully. I went down to Lowerhouse a few years ago for their home game against Rishton which tybfc was sponsoring. I have to report that the afore mentioned Mr Heaton and Dave Wren (sadly left us) were bullying me into being a member. Wrenny did give me a lift home though. :D

Seriously, I'll be tuning in. Stan is a top man and what he's done for local cricket is exceptional.

He’s done an amazing job, I’ll give it a watch.

I just hope the internet is back up in the Lowerhouse area and people see this thread, it’s been down for the last couple of weekends for some reason.

And I popped out to drop some shopping off for a neighbour and forgot it. I’ve set the repeat to record.

Nice line in self-deprecating humour about both himself and Lowerhouse CC, ( " We won nothing for the first 140 years, but we've bucked up a bit in the last 15 years or so ! " ) ... whilst accentuating the positives coming from junior Cricket !!

Just watched the re-run of it. Well done Stan. He spoke really well and how his passion for the game and helping young cricketers came through.

If you watch Key, Hussain & Atherton while he’s speaking they are hanging on his every word.

Great advert for Lowerhouse, for the Lancashire League and for cricket in this county.

Excellent work from Stan and from Sky Sports for showing a genuine interest in club cricket.

Too often TV takes a cliched view of club cricket that in my opinion does nothing to advance or promote the game.

Sky asked relevant questions and Stan gave fantastic, well reasoned answers.

With this and the Telegraph article in recent times Lowerhouse have been able to talk about and promote club cricket.

I’d love to see more of it and wouldn’t it be great if the ECB embraced what the likes of Stan have to say.

Well done Stan!
