Asda Butter Beans in water 400g
What is in my tin?
It's the only tin left int' cupboard so, no complaints that we've had Butter Beans before
I would have liked a tin of spam with bubbles for our visitors tomorrow evening but, hey ho, sometimes, you just have to go with what's int' cupboard.
You have 24 hours. Kick Off is at 20.15 tomorrow. Do your best ! We could do with 1 point, but preferably 3
Admiral, I will need some assistance post-declaration of the result.

Re: Asda Butter Beans in water 400g
Good morning all. 120 beans and 120ml of water.
Re: Asda Butter Beans in water 400g
The thing is though Admiral not just anybody can do the count, in the good old days perhaps but these days with health and safety, method statements, risk assessments, litigation and no win no fee solicitors it could be a minefield.
I am up to NVQ level 4 tin opening and content analysis just six more to go then I can do the foundation course for the degree in the subject.
I was stunned when i got to level 3 and nearly quit such was the horrors i witnessed watching videos of cut fingers, ripped thumbs, severed palms etc, the ring pull cans are not exactly the panacea of safety, dislocated fingers, displaced nails, wrist injuries, it really is the battle of the Somme out there if not properly trained.
Level 4 is somewhat reassuring focusing on PPE for said task. I like the reinforced gauntlet gloves and torque opener however the reinforced goggles somewhat limit vision but I know they are a necessary evil perchance a sharp piece of pineapple hits you in the face during an over vigorous opening and renders you blind in one eye.
Take care out there it's a dangerous world.

Re: Asda Butter Beans in water 400g
Hmmm, NVQ level 6 covers aids, however I can see issues already
No reinforced gauntlet glove
No at hand risk assessment or method statement perchance emergency services have to attend
No British standard kite mark
No European safety symbol
No emergency lighting
No FFE at hand
The tin should be held firm in a vice or similar method of securing it prior to commencement
Proof the tin has been sterilised
Proof the aid has been sterilised
Has the operative been trained with an up to date competence certificate
An assistant equally qualified should be present.
Apart from the above safe as houses
