I don't claim to know much about the youth leagues but it seems that to even be talking about the play-offs is a remarkable achievement for a first season at this level and following the reported mismanagement at youth level over the past few years.
I'm not sure winning this league is that important to us. It's always nice, but we could surely have played some more seniors to give them game time even with our thin 1st team squad if promotion was a priority. As it is we get an honest view of our strengths and weaknesses and that can only benefit the club as a whole.

We probably won't make the play-offs now, but in general it's been a decent season for the youngsters, and they've done far better at this level than many expected, so we have much to be excited about going forwards, and we've certainly came on leaps and bounds in a short space of time.
