Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I applied for 2 tickets via friends and family.
I got the email saying that my ballot application was successful for ALL of the tickets I applied for.
But when I log back I’m now uncertain if I have been allocated 1 or 2 tickets.
It only says one on the screenshot.
Any ideas?

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
Has anyone else who had the “success” notice on their purchase history not received an email?

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I submitted an application for 6 and all have the successful notice in purchase history. All 5 others have had the email except me! I’m confident that I’m in and when I log in to my ticket account on Sunday all will be fine. UTC

They said an e ticket, much like printing your boarding pass at home, and I also think you can download to your phone, again much like a boarding passBurnleyareback2 wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 5:48 pmI got an email saying my dad had been successful and that other F&F have been as well which includes me, however no email directly to me even though I applied for us both in the ballot.
Assuming I’m included. Does anyone know what the reference to no paper tickets means? Will the actual tickets just be loaded to the season cards, or are we going to have to use smart phones?

I’ve checked it all and not got the email. However the link just takes you to your ticketing account so I’m hoping that my ticket will be there on Sunday. UTC

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I've got a successful note in my Purchase History but no email. Assume I havent got tickets.
It would be nice to know as I had to cancel something Weds afternoon to make sure I could get to TM early if required for checks etc.

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
Thanks. So either the success message was irrelevant or there are issues with sending emails out to all those who have got tickets. Have to say I’m surprised at the number of people I’m seeing who don’t seem to have tickets when it looks like there was roughly a 70% chance of success.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
Sadly my ballot confirmation still says application. No email either.
Very disappointed.

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I spoke to someone in the ticket office this morning as I was unsure if the" successful" in my purchase history applied to my 3 F & F too. She explained that successful in purchase history only referred to being successfully entered into the ballot not that you actually would receive a ticket. That would have to wait until later this afternoon when the winners' e-mails would be sent.

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
That makes sense but what doesn’t is that it seems only some members of group allocations have been successful even though the initial release said all wouldnanna4 wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 7:53 pmI spoke to someone in the ticket office this morning as I was unsure if the" successful" in my purchase history applied to my 3 F & F too. In their ballot application, supporters will be able to apply once individually, or once in a group of up to six eligible season ticket holders. Those who you wish to apply with must be linked to your account through the ‘Friends and Family’ tool. Successful applicants will have all requested tickets allocated in this grouping, although social distancing rules will apply in the stadium.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I have an issue where I applied for 3 tickets via F and F and 1 of those 3 (who wasn't the applicant) is the only 1 to receive a confirmation email which says that his 'ballot application was successful for ALL the tickets you applied for as part of your friends and family group' but he didn't actually apply.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
If that was the case, you wonder why there was a different payment reference number on the successful emails??? Also, some people didn't get the successful message on theirs.nanna4 wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 7:53 pmI spoke to someone in the ticket office this morning as I was unsure if the" successful" in my purchase history applied to my 3 F & F too. Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
My e-mail says "We are happy to confirm that your ballot application was successful for ALL the tickets you applied for as part of your friends & family group." The ticket office lady confirmed that if you applied with F & F, all would be included with the lead person in an application.

The two friends & family have both received emails but I’ve not received one.Leisure wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 8:09 pmI have an issue where I applied for 3 tickets via F and F and 1 of those 3 (who wasn't the applicant) is the only 1 to receive a confirmation email which says that his 'ballot application was successful for ALL the tickets you applied for as part of your friends and family group' but he didn't actually apply.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I'm hopeful that it will all be resolved satisfactorily when the window opens at 20:15 on Sunday. However, if we only get 2 out of 3 then we won't be able to go - it wouldn't be fair on my youngest. I am not annoyed by that prospect as I recognise the club has tried to do a good thing but 2 tickets going to waste, when they are so scarce, would be a real shame.

Nothing is ever straightforward with Burnley and ticket sales!nanna4 wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 7:53 pmI spoke to someone in the ticket office this morning as I was unsure if the" successful" in my purchase history applied to my 3 F & F too. When I checked my account on Thursday it said "Successful".
Did this mean that I had successfully entered the ballot or did it mean that I had got a ticket?
As suggested by someone on here I clicked on "Resend email".
Shortly after I received an email which stated.......
"Thankyou for purchasing from Burnley Football Club.
Your order details are, Payment ref: ××#×÷
This email is confirmation of your purchase"
I have now seen on this site screenshots of different emails to mine (the claret background ones), I didn't get one of those.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
Hopefully the tickets won’t go to waste. Fingers crossed the club’s ticketing facility had the ability to recycle those tickets not taken up to those who were unsuccessful in the ballot.Duffer_ wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 8:55 pmI'm hopeful that it will all be resolved satisfactorily when the window opens at 20:15 on Sunday. Making the tickets free, potentially, opened up the possibility for abuse giving people the option to change their minds with no financial penalty. Albeit at the expense of those who would have gone.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I've also heard from others in a similar position of not having been allocated all the tickets they applied for and they will also not be attending. As the club said, it's all or nothing.Duffer_ wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 8:55 pmI'm hopeful that it will all be resolved satisfactorily when the window opens at 20:15 on Sunday. As others have said, check your Spam folders for emails.
Mine wasn't in the primary inbox but hidden away.
I suggest doing a search in your emails for 'Burnleyfootballclub' and see if it finds anything.

Someone I know has been successful in the ballot which is great. Only thing is, they didn't enter it.

I suspect not mine for reason above. He applied initially as two individuals. And then separately as a two when the system was working properly.Leisure wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 6:29 pmPlease can you let me know if who applied for multiple tickets through Friends and Family but have not been allocated tickets for the full number you applied for? Watching in the pub will likely be a good atmosphere and have considered going park view myself for this one.ClaretAL wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 6:42 pmNothing here either unfortunately, and wow did we need it now more than other after the the last few months, need some normality for my son ASAP and his time to open up after losing Mrs ClaretAl. That said pubs will be open so we can do our usual trip to the Turf and hopefully get a seat in the park view. Do us proud you lot who got tickets and sing it loud an proud, last thing we need is a silent Turfmoor

Also agree on the second. What is a great gesture is ultimately open to abuse by people who have no intention of going / May drop out at last minute.
While Spurs charging £60 is a joke. At least it negates the above.
Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
Those of you who applied for multiple tickets via Friends and Family. Has just the lead person received a confirmation email or have more of your group also received one? Just looking at one of the emails it does state 'your ballot application was successful for ALL the tickets you applied for as part of your Friends and Family group'.

I spoke to the ticket office earlier and they told me if one was successful then all were and it was likely the lead person would be the only one to get an email as they had issues with the email system which they did not control (or something like that)Leisure wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:54 pmThose of you who applied for multiple tickets via Friends and Family. Pete, I applied for 5 via friends and family. 2 of us have got emails for sure, not sure about the other 3. The email I got as the primary applicant makes it clear that ALL of us have tickets. It’s not 100% clear but intimates that I will be able to get all of the tickets on Sunday evening by whatever means they are distributing them.Leisure wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:54 pmThose of you who applied for multiple tickets via Friends and Family. By the way, well done and thanks Leisure for taking on all these issues around ticketing. I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciates it.

Re: Liverpool game - ballot update
I haven't the inclination to read the previous 10 pages of this thread but get the general idea that the sale of the tickets for this game has been the usual debacle that we have become used to from Burnley FC.
I probably thought that it was hard work having to queue up for a ticket in the 1970's on a Monday morning before school and never imagined that a computerised system would one day takeover to make things simpler and I could apply for MY ticket from home.
Anybody else feel like it's not worth the time and effort?

I did at the time. But eventually after much faff. Several phone calls and emails finally managed before giving up.
I can only begin to imagine how seamless applying again Sunday before entering, sitting and exiting on Wednesday will be.
Hopefully come august it will be back to normal for going on. Ie turn up. Scan ticket. Sit down.

Just out of interest,is there anyone who doesn’t live locally get a ticket on here.
Just wondering g if the new COVID variant may have led them to think again about this.
Or maybe it’s just my isual bad luck when it comes to ballots of any kind....

Turned out to just be the confirmation that they received my application.

Nowhere in the instructions did it say to keep checking your account before Friday. Many did, which has caused confusion and perhaps made the process seem harder than it actually was, had they just waited till Friday to see if they got the email, or not.tybfc wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 11:12 pmI haven't the inclination to read the previous 10 pages of this thread but get the general idea that the sale of the tickets for this game has been the usual debacle that we have become used to from Burnley FC.

Posted yesterday that I was lead applicant for 6 and only one not to get an email. Got up this morning and found that my confirmation came through at 23.13 last night.
Was never worried about it as all other emails emphasised that ALL applications made together had been successful.
Feel like a kid waiting for Christmas Day!
