Why over complicate a simple request!
“Those supporters attending the Burnley v Liverpool match are kindly asked to follow the following arrival times at Turf Moor.”
It’s not rocket science, yet you go off on a tangent saying people will be turned away. Do you honestly believe that people are going to be turned away if they are ten minutes late or early?!
And you need to understand and respect that some people are more anxious about the prospect of returning to the Turf than others.

I haven't gone off on a tangent at all, I'm simply relaying what the club have said.
Where have the club said that people will be turned away if they don’t arrive at the allotted times?

During the check out process when claiming the ticket.

I never saw anything regarding arrival times when getting the free ticket.
Look, it’s really not difficult. They’ve put in these allocated times so that everyone doesn’t turn up en masse at once. Go on, turn up ten minutes late, I dare you. Live a little. You might enjoy the thrill.

It's in the supporters code of conduct that you ticked to say you read, understood and agreed to before claiming your ticket.
Point 19:
You must enter the stadium within the timeframe we communicate to you and this may be significantly earlier than kick-off time. Entry may be refused if you seek entry outside of this time period

Thanks, it would be useful to get some clarification.
Also, is it 'through the turnstile' by those times, or 'at the ground' by those times?
If it is 'arrival windows', the club needs to say 'people with tickets in the following blocks need to be through the turnstile between 7.00pm and 7.30pm' and 'people with tickets in the following blocks need to be through the turnstile between 7.30pm and 8.00pm' - assuming there is a requirement for all fans to be in the ground at a set time, x number of minutes prior to kick off.
It’s exactly as you state above. I've told the Club that it's not clear on the website.

Considering that some people are travelling a lot further than others, fixed entry times whilst understandable are unrealistic. I'm coming over the Blubberhouses, and the weather is inclement, who knows what I'll run into.
To make any effort to get to the ground, to be turned away, would be ridiculous.

If this has been stated by the club or elsewhere on this site then I'm sorry to ask, but do you need to show the QR code on your phone when going through the turnstiles, or can you print it out and show it that way?

I tweeted @burnleyofficial last night about no info about arrival times for NU5 and Daz Bentley said he would look into it today because he had not had any involvement in it
So far nothing updated on the official site but I am sure it will be sorted in time

Sorry, thought that post just indicated that the post you quoted was correct in identifying the confusion.
That would suggest cut off point for earlier group is 45 mins before ko which is more palatable. They should indeed clarify that.

Knowing what I know about who has and hasn’t received tickets, I’m not convinced the ticket allocation was as random as was claimed.
Before starting conspiracy theories, have a little think about what you are saying. You are saying that an overworked team struggling with an ineffective internet system and vast numbers of queries, have deliberately added a lot to their workload by rigging the draw. And they have done this because ...
Now fill in the blank at ... , because I can't. Your theory makes no sense at all.

If it helps. swankily dressed dogs walking round the pitch don't need to socially distance; and parachutists on the roof are far enough away from everybody!

Ideally they would like to get in all the 7pm'ers before the 7.30pm people turn up but I don't think that there'll actually be a cutoff time. Obviously if anyone is a 7.30pm er and they turn up just before ko I'm sure that they'll get in but with a delay. Basically people can't expect to turn up 5 mins before ko and expect to see the ko.

Thank you Leisure for putting me in touch with the supporter liaison people. A wonderful lady called Anita took on my case...she was working for me at 11.30 last night and 20 minutes ago she finally sorted things for us..not our usual seats but who cares ...what an angel...if I could see her I'd give her a very big hug. Successful for one ticket in the ballot. Good, only asked for one.
Went online today to see about claiming the ticket.... I already have four apparently.
Won’t recognise my log in details.
Any other way of redeeming the ticket to ensure I’m not turned away at the turnstile?

Sorry if already covered but the code of conduct says that we have to have the NHS COVID app to gain entry. Does each member of the group need to have it or will it be ok if just the lead person does?

And what are you basing that on?
Do you actually think the people who have been organising this would even have the wherewithal to start sorting out preferred seats?
What you are actually doing here is accusing the club of acting dishonestly.

If full stadiums are allowed next season, it will mean that all social distancing rules have gone, so you will be able to turn up when you wish

For anyone who is still having dificulties, logging on, getting your tickets etc
If you haven't had any success trying to get through to the Ticket Office, I would suugest that you urgently email the Supporters Liaison Officer -
slo@burnleyfc.com
The 8.15pm deadline tonight will be the deadline, there'll be no extension of this due to the additional admin. work required after the deadline.

What a pile of nonsense, it would've been 1000x easier if they just handed out 3,500 tickets from the ticket office on a first come first serve basis.

Seen and had a few queries about the QR code. You can have it either on your phone or just print your ticket, as long as the QR code is visible. And in addition to this you need a mask and photo ID and know your stand/row/seat number.

Exactly, fair play to anyone that can be bothered jumping through all these hoops, but it's not for me. If this is the new "normal" I'll go and watch Colne instead next season.

Me to.. Can't think of anything worse than sitting in a cold football stadium for 45 - 90 minutes before ko, if this is to be the case I am finished in attending football matches and I am sure I won't be the only one
