My West Ham season ticket mate:

"He's a good player but doesn't get a game anymore for us. Moyes isn't keen on him I guess. I'd love to see him go. He's on huge wages and we should get rid whilst we can get money for him. Turns up 1 in 10 games hence why Moyes wants rid
Sounds like a Ukrainian Chris Eagles to me (puts tin hat on……)

Gray would do well at Blackburn. He's only 30. But would he want to go there?

not really, they can change his remaining 3 years so he earns more money
I already know that, that's what he gets, not what we get in return.

Daily mail reporting Tarks won’t be sold for less than his 50m release clause.

Looks like he is staying then

A real pity if this guy goes to one of our closest rivals especially with our lack of pace and bite in central midfield

We can’t sign every player, we’re not Aston Villa.

Fantastic. Shows some strength. A few years ago we’d have panicked at the prospect of losing him for free and sold him on the cheap.

Once Wayne Hennessey signs tommorrow for Burnley we seriously need to bring in a right winger has our next signing, I know the window closes in several weeks but they need time to bed into the team.

And I'd be looking at moving on Barnes as well to be honest

He's more likely to play at Palace with the amount of players they've lost.

Lost a lot of deadwood but are replacing with the best young talent in the league below.

They will start the season with a really strong team

Do you genuinely think we would even be remotely interested in him?
He is the polar opposite of everything about our type of signing.

People need to forget about us signing any sort of young up and coming stars on loan from one of these big clubs.
We have a tried and trusted method, we dont sway from it.

When did we sign a genuine classy, skillful creative player?
Defour possibly?

It's not the style we seem to go with, and if Pace and Co are allowing Dyche to continue as he sees fit, those sorts will be few and far between.
Dont try and fix what isnt broken.

Dyches trusted method will see us ( and has shown us) we usually do enough with a bit spare to be the the league season after season.

As it stands, apart from sakho & Hennessy they haven’t lost that many yet, that’s not to suggest more won’t go but some of the talks are ongoing about extending so this mass exodus might only lead to a few contrary to the assumption that everybody will automatically leave the OOC players.

I think they’ll take a fair fee thrashings until the team beds in. They won’t start it with Zaha either.

Extremely. New inexperienced manager, likely without Zaha, all their experience gone - complete unknown, a very high risk strategy that could go either way.

We shall see, because losing a lot of experience and replacing with mainly youth and having a manager with no PL managerial experience is going to be interesting

Your thinking needs retuning, this player as also signed plus matthews as replaced Hennessy & the Chelsea youngster will probably be another addition next week.

None, the suggestion was that there was only 1 done incoming, with a little bit more research you’ve got 3 & possibly 4 next week. You’ve got olise & montes & matthews & possibly guehi & possibly more before the window shuts & also the assumption that some OOC players will extend, so it’s not as threadbare as some are making out, whether you are replacing like for like is debatable, sakho won’t be missed that’s for sure he was always injured.

There was explicit reference to the league below i.e. Championship. You are naming players where that is not the case. You incorrectly highlighted Matthews and Montes.

With Geuhi signing and Gallagher looking likely there starting eleven is looking really strong. Add in the championship young player of the season. With Zaha set to be back in October.

They will be safe this season.

Gallagher got relegated last season. Olise had one good game in 3 at a lower level, albeit does look a talent.

Zaha has openly stated he wants to leave, so I’d imagine they’re spending the money they plan to get for him.

Just can’t see them being stronger than last year myself, particularly with an inexperienced manager.

“Just can’t see them being stronger than last year myself” I can’t but they don’t necessarily need to be to avoid relegation, because the bottom 3 were so poor last season it’s another lofty assumption that this seasons bottom 3 will be far better, Norwich aside can you see Watford & Brentford being miles ahead of Fulham & West Brom?

With Geuhi signing and Gallagher looking likely there starting eleven is looking really strong. Add in the championship young player of the season. With Zaha set to be back in October.

They will be safe this season.
That's gonna depend on if Geuhi can make the step up and if Gallagher can replicate his form.

Zaha back in October ? He played at Walsall yesterday, presume newcastle is referring to Eze.

Might be better if the perennially miserable Zaha stays, who would want that constantly downcast fizzog around your squad on a daily basis.
