Gray would do well at Blackburn. He's only 30. But would he want to go there?

Once Wayne Hennessey signs tommorrow for Burnley we seriously need to bring in a right winger has our next signing, I know the window closes in several weeks but they need time to bed into the team.

He is the polar opposite of everything about our type of signing.
People need to forget about us signing any sort of young up and coming stars on loan from one of these big clubs.
We have a tried and trusted method, we dont sway from it.
When did we sign a genuine classy, skillful creative player?
Defour possibly?
It's not the style we seem to go with, and if Pace and Co are allowing Dyche to continue as he sees fit, those sorts will be few and far between.
Dont try and fix what isnt broken.
Dyches trusted method will see us ( and has shown us) we usually do enough with a bit spare to be the the league season after season.

As it stands, apart from sakho & Hennessy they haven’t lost that many yet, that’s not to suggest more won’t go but some of the talks are ongoing about extending so this mass exodus might only lead to a few contrary to the assumption that everybody will automatically leave the OOC players.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 9:59 amLost a lot of deadwood but are replacing with the best young talent in the league below.

They won’t start it with Zaha either. Going on how many seasons have we said that, unless a big offers comes in he’s going nowhere especially with eze out injured.

Extremely. New inexperienced manager, likely without Zaha, all their experience gone - complete unknown, a very high risk strategy that could go either way.

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
None, the suggestion was that there was only 1 done incoming, with a little bit more research you’ve got 3 & possibly 4 next week. You’ve got olise & montes & matthews & possibly guehi & possibly more before the window shuts & also the assumption that some OOC players will extend, so it’s not as threadbare as some are making out, whether you are replacing like for like is debatable, sakho won’t be missed that’s for sure he was always injured.

There was explicit reference to the league below i.e. Championship. You are naming players where that is not the case. You incorrectly highlighted Matthews and Montes.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 10:38 amNone, the suggestion was that there was only 1 done incoming, with a little bit more research you’ve got 3 & possibly 4 next week. With Geuhi signing and Gallagher looking likely there starting eleven is looking really strong. Add in the championship young player of the season. With Zaha set to be back in October.
They will be safe this season.

Zaha has openly stated he wants to leave, so I’d imagine they’re spending the money they plan to get for him.
Just can’t see them being stronger than last year myself, particularly with an inexperienced manager.

“Just can’t see them being stronger than last year myself” I can’t but they don’t necessarily need to be to avoid relegation, because the bottom 3 were so poor last season it’s another lofty assumption that this seasons bottom 3 will be far better, Norwich aside can you see Watford & Brentford being miles ahead of Fulham & West Brom?NewClaret wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 11:39 amGallagher got relegated last season. Zaha back in October ? He played at Walsall yesterday, presume newcastle is referring to Eze.
Might be better if the perennially miserable Zaha stays, who would want that constantly downcast fizzog around your squad on a daily basis.
