According to Leanne Bagnall the medical is booked for Collins.
Maybe this will be completed imminently

Don't know about the veracity of these sources but anyway..
Stoke City are on the cusp of agreeing a £12m deal that will see Nathan Collins move to Burnley, a source has exclusively revealed to Football League World.
https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sourc ... agreement/
Collins, 20, is ‘on the brink’ of sealing a £12million transfer to Burnley this summer, claims Football League World.

Guys, a plea
If you are going to copy info from twitter, then its not hard to check how many followers the source has first before posting it on here.
If they are a legit source, their follower count will be a good guide
And regarding the financial info being highlighted on here
I know people don't like it, but the reality is that is the key to how we can perform in the transfer market.
You can either live in the real world of football finance (which isn't going to be pleasant reading if you think we've millions in the bank) or you can keep pretending that FM is real life.
Hiding from the reality doesn't help anyone

The name appears after a camera emoji so presumably it is just crediting her with the picture of Collins used in the article?

I assumed we’d seen the last of Tarky to be honest. It sounds like Collins could be a good replacement. I think Worrall could come as well.

I’d rather we sell to either over Wolves, given I’d consider them direct competition, but good to have another club in the mix!

Would selling Tarks and bringing in Collins and Williams from Liverpool be such a bad deal?
Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
I don't understand this part, the accounts showed before the takeover £50m+ cash was in the clubs bank account, sat there, reserves built up. That is factual information, no? is that not reality?Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 9:22 am

Now i'm not a financial expert, I have no idea how much of this cash remains after the takeover so maybe an expert like yourself can educate me.

Aren't you cherry picking the info there a bit though?
Its after the take over, which we know has been partly funded by the cash in the bank, and its after a couple of tough years financially
And the wage to turnover ratio trend is clear to see (70% is the recommended I seem to recall)
All I'm saying is that the financial realities are instinctually linked to our ability to operate in the transfer market, and that it deserves to be on this thread

If you don't like people posting rumours from people with about ten followers on Twitter I suggest you are in the wrong place.
Or should we have two threads, legitimate rumours and unsubstantiated rumours?

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
We need a bidding war for Tarks. The last year of his contract, and West Ham the only interest would see a ridiculously low offer. I've seen £15mill mentioned. I'd rather let him go for free than let them have our pants down. By next summer WH could well have moved on and bought a.n.other centre back, and at a year older the grass might not be so green on the other side for Tarks.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 9:55 amTelegraph reporting wolves and West Ham interested in Tarks

Leeds, Southampton, Aston Villa and ourselves are supposedly interested. Might need his brother to have a word with him

Better than whether it should be rumours from a spotty kid on his hols / the likes of John Percy, or the monies available for transfers and our finances - would be for this not to be another thread that ends in bloody squabbles.

Good news - John Percy is almost always on the money.
And, if I'm allowed to post something positive about Burnley and transfer business, well done to those involved.
Of course we will need to wait and see if this will be a good signing but, based on Joe Rodon's transfer last summer and Stoke supporters extremely high regard of Nathan Collins, it would seem that £12m (no matter which way the transfer is structured) is a bit of a steal.

funnily enough last nights conversation came from a post I made that effectively echoed your common complaint, it followed another round of discussion on past transfer market performance and the perceived financial strengtharise_sir_charge wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 7:21 amCouldn’t agree more. You are often quick to criticise what I post - and I try to stick to an interpretation of official data released by the club, last night's discussion was primarily based on such historical data.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 5:08 pmso much endless circling of posts as to the nature of the clubs finances and why it has/hasn't spent money in the Premier League years without actually any analysis of what has actually gone on in that period or understanding of the constraints under which the club has operated - there is no financial analysis, no consideration of the other spending that the club has had to do (it was so far behind acceptable levels in so many areas and still is in quite a few) and so many balls to juggle while doing enough to maintain it's Premier League status and making it attractive enough for someone else to come in ant take it on. The last part in particular was extremely difficult given the challenges any owners would face to develop the club further.
As I have said before, you are one of the few here who have the skillset, knowledge and experience to offer a clear interpretation of this data, you choose not to, which I believe to be a shame, particularly as you criticise those who try to (even when they freely admit they do not have your capabilities and invite other interpretations that they want to prove them wrong). You well know that accounts can say whatever you want them too and If you wanted, you could quite feasibly give a wholly different/opposing slant on my and other's take. The conversation would be so much richer if you did, and it would help many of us here to better understand what has gone /is going on.

My mistake for not putting those in, but there are posts on this thread from twitter from posters who have just looked at the story and not checked anything else out.

My point on this occasion is more that I don’t see the relevance on a transfer rumours thread. Lancaster says it’s relevant due to budgets etc but I disagree. Football fans aren’t generally interested in that side of the transfer business.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 11:30 amfunnily enough last nights conversation came from a post I made that effectively echoed your common complaint, it followed another round of discussion on past transfer market performance and the perceived financial strength

There are plenty of alternative posts where those interested can read and discuss posts around perceived financials.
In respect of my input, as I’ve said before, there are too many unknowns at this stage around ALK and how they plan to operate for me to form an opinion either way.
