The Lookman deal is another fake news, the loan fee is 3.5 million and then 50k a week wages, we wouldn't pay 3.5 million if that was the buying fee never mind the loan fee

Never heard of him, so I checked out his stats, he netted 6 in 25 in the Portuguese league last season, and 14 in 39 in total.

Hardly prolific stats are they, and not someone that I'd be happy with us throwing £35m at that's for sure.

Maybe he'll be a hit in the PL, but given his less than stellar record in a relatively poor league, certainly in comparison to England I'll be surprised.

Different than anything we have. Can play right or left. Allows for rotation with Dwight. He’d be a great addition.

I'd say a RB is a position we need for sure. Bardsley is 55 years old and Lowton is 31/2. Maybe not an immediate priority but we'll need a right back in the next 12-18 months preferably earlier

If the club is struggling at the moment to bring in 1 or 2 quality additions that we need in key positions this window the notion, that if that fails, then we will "get by for another season" and bring in 5 or 6 next summer is just the stuff of pure fantasy.

Many posters on here, myself included, have pointed out the problems being stored up by just kicking the can down the road and looking towards the next window when things might be different.

Hopefully, the club will manage to bring in 1 or 2 before the window closes to ease the pressure somewhat on future windows.
