I had a route through Twitter and the link in the picture posted above actually quotes this Twitter handle as it’s source.

Very rarely disagree with your player opinions, LTL, but Pieters is a far better all around FB than Charlie.Long Time Lurker wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 7:46 pmOur left side is lacking. Pieters is adequate as a left back or a left midfield option, but poor as a wing back,
Charlie just edges it defensively but Pieters is a footballer, with either foot, he gets his crosses in earlier, he has shots and he doesn’t run up blind alleys with his head down.
I’d still start Charlie because of his defending but Pieters isn’t poor wherever he is employed.

Is Cornet Dyche fit though ? If not we'll have to Mr Whippy him into shape.

There’s been a lot of speculation about Dyche’s preference for signing British players. I’m convinced it’s to avoid all the shite player name puns he reads on here.

Absolutely no way, there are plenty more to come, in fact there could be hundreds and thousands.

One thing is for sure, If Sean is looking to sign Josh Doig, that's a sure sign that he intends to stay at Burnley. Why else would he spend that sort of money on a player for the future, when he could spend it on someone who would slot straight into the first team squad?

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
You know, as well as I do that Sean Dyche runs BFC. If Sean doesn't want Doig, it won't happen.
That gives me supreme confidence that Sean is staying, as I've always said he would. He's just making sure he gets the players he wants, before signing a new contract.

The amount of money that is available is a different matter. One thing is for certain, whatever funds he is given, it is up to Sean who he spends it on, and he wouldn't be looking to buy players for the future, if he was thinking of leaving.minnieclaret wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 7:54 amI hope he does but he doesn’t run BFC. Considering it is highly likely Chelsea will finish in the top 4 with of the other clubs in the top 6 did they prevent him from going to on loan ?

Any young player signing I would think along the lines of this new scouting app, rather than Dyche.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 7:36 amOne thing is for sure, If Sean is looking to sign Josh Doig, that's a sure sign that he intends to stay at Burnley. Just based on his past signings and their intentions.
Aren't we planning on loaning him out straight away? I don't think we have done that yet under Dyche have we?

Again two new pages since i last logged on and nothing new apart from puns .
I think even if Sean was to leave he would still be thinking of the future for everyone at the club , that's why he would buy someone young with the hope to take him forward .

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
Cornet's agent turned up at the Turf with 2 players and as his English isn't very good he had a sign made saying stop me and buy one.
