It's not Rushden & Diamonds but you're right with Hartlepool, League Cup 1st Round 1st Leg in 2000 had an attendance of 3,319.

Yes Plymouth ended it and Luton was at the lowest ebb. You make a good point though because after the Luton game even less should have bothered with the Plymouth match
