Fair play to the lad. IMO any success he has is positive for us in that he spent 13 years at Burnley.

Really pleased he’s got himself into the first team squad there. He’s a Burnley fan from a family of Burnley fans too.

Hope he can cement his place in their first team. Can't help but think its heartbreaking to be let go by the club you support.

I thought that was the case but get easily confused with other young players.

It must indeed be horrendous for lads in that situation. Who knows, if we had been lower down the leagues he might have been kept (ditto Tom Anderson).

Catch 22, if we were lower down in the leagues, say League One level, they would probably have been kept on, but at the same time, being at League One level would we have even had them in the first place in our youth setup?

Definitely Skipton,him and Rob Harker both went to Aireville School.Watched em play against South Craven school once,both were outstanding.

I know they went to the same school, can recall reference to it when we signed Rob Harker. I know Oliver's family live close to Skipton.
