Re: Dyche to Wolves
Probably a perfect job for Marco Silva.
Treated harshly by every club he has been at previously in this country and would be surrounded by a selection of Portugal's squad. He could finally live up to his genius potential.

Re: Dyche to Wolves
Why not? Huge club with a terrific ground and not too far from Sean's family?
That said, there's a difference between being in the frame, and actually wanting to leave Burnley.
I'm pretty confident that Sean will still be here next season, and probably with an extended contract.

Yes, and the other thread was on the same subject, so why not?Claret_tinted wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 3:00 pmYou’ve just cut and pasted this from another thread? The last thing we need is you doubling up fodder!
Was my post so controversial, or are you just ultra sensitive?

Re: Dyche to Wolves
That'd be good. It would at least encourage Wolves to join the mix of "teams that might be in the relegation battle".claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 2:14 pmProbably a perfect job for Marco Silva.

If he hadn't just gone to Roma this might be a good shout given the Portuguese bias at Wolves

Re: Dyche to Wolves
Why not just let the agent who brings all their players in pick the team ?

What has he done for anyone to suspect he’s a potential genius?claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 2:14 pmProbably a perfect job for Marco Silva.

SD already looking to the transfer window and hoping there is enough money in the kitty to persuade Tarks to stay.

Re: Dyche to Wolves
Wolves? Really?
There are some talented players but, in general, they are a band of misfits.
SD can do better than Wolves... staying at t'Turf is better than Wolves

Re: Dyche to Wolves
I'm sure SD would be interested. Its kinda the perfect job. He's not inline for a top 6 job and its a step up in budget. Its also closer to home.
Whether Wolves would even be interested though. That's probably way less likely. Just had a cheeky look at a Wolves forum. This is the only mention of Dyche in the whole 5 page thread
"Christ Dyche & Howe suggested already, who's next? Chris ******* Coleman?"

Surely it has to be another Portuguese?
Re: Dyche to Wolves
A lot of Wolves fans would be very pleased if we did.
I haven't seen him do much, either. Apart from lying on the floor pretending to be hurt when his side was attacking.

Amusingly I suspect the people who constantly whinge about Dyche would then whinge at the owners cos he'd left

"Mourinho at Molineux". The media would have milked that one...

Bruno Lage being lined up, so they're sticking with the Portuguese model, and it's no surprise to see Jorge Mendes heavily involved that chap has his fingers in every pie doesn't he.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57241200

Re: Dyche to Wolves
Mendes is on the Wolves Board isn't he? That was part of the complaint launched against them by the Championship Clubs.
Re: Dyche to Wolves
What blasphemy. And if he was the second coming of our holy Lord and saviour, would he want the job? It's one thing taking on the sins of the World, but managing Wolves when you suspect that half of their players are likely to disappear with their past manager or at the behest of that dodgy agent is taking it a bit too far.
There again, with our resources, water into wine has been an oft repeated trick. Shame he couldn't do that Lazarus thing with Defour.
