New Kits 21/22
Re: New Kits 21/22
Well, that’s one way to cross the Love Bet logo out.
Re: New Kits 21/22
They’ve aged quite badly in my opinion.
The best one we’ve had recently is the Puma home shirt when we finished 7th.

Don’t think we could have asked for better in 2009/10 for that 50th anniversary

The current Tesco uniform is poor. I prefer to get the retro ones.

Don’t get me wrong I loved them at the time and they were very much appropriate of the time, but just seems with some that every shirt since has been compared to them.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 7:50 pmDon’t think we could have asked for better in 2009/10 for that 50th anniversary
They still have some pride of place at home though to be fair.

I don’t buy shirts now with the gambling ads on them so was wearing my 2009/10 shirt for home games

The 2014 silver away kit is one of my favourite shirts of all time, masterpiece.

I much prefer the mono style badge. I think the colours on the home shirt badge are all wrong. Turquoise blue & lemon border, should be a darker sky blue & Gold border.

Also a big fan of the monochrome badges. Like the traditional badge on the home kit, but as as you say, think the colours could be subtly tweaked to better suit the shirt.RammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 4:43 amI much prefer the mono style badge. Re: New Kits 21/22
Are the U23s wearing the new shorts today?
Re: New Kits 21/22
No, they are quite old in fact. They were the ‘change’ shorts for the first Umbro home kit we had two seasons ago. The first team did wear them last season at Millwall in the cup.1989_claret wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 12:49 pmAre the U23s wearing the new shorts today?

Re: New Kits 21/22
Announcement of new kit and new sponsor expected today according to Chris Boden.
Re: New Kits 21/22
Agreed. Think the badge isn't great at all really - too messy overall. Making it monochrome helps a little bit but I'd be keen for a new one (or the "old" one, tweaked and streamlined.)RammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 4:43 amI much prefer the mono style badge. Strong rumour that the home shirt is expected to feature mainly claret and blue as colours.

I don't think Chris Boden is suggesting today is he? He says Hennessey, sponsor and new kit ahead of Saturday's friendly.

The Royal Pigeon Racing Association emblazoned across our shirt with their award winning pigeon 'Arthur' flying around the stadium and landing on the crossbar like Palace's 'Kayla' the eagle.

So dissappointed it’s another gambling company.
Re: New Kits 21/22
Couldn't give a rats ass that it's another betting company. If they offered the most money, then it's a no brainer.

I hope we don't carry the red from the Spread Ex logo onto the shirts.
Re: New Kits 21/22
you would think it would be a direct conflict of interests with Etoro and Spreadex both sponsors of the same club, I presume both would want some kind of exclusivity rights.

Re: New Kits 21/22
One year deal. Suggests no betting company next year in my opinion. They’ve not had long to secure this deal and by the looks of things Spreadex are doing the right things, in terms of tackling problem gambling etc
