it's literally the club dragging itself into the modern world whether we like it or not - younger people love it and they are the future of our fan base - anything the club can do to promote itself and try and generate further income is absolutely brilliant imho

agree 100% but I'd be gobsmacked if Pace hasn't got all that sorted, he's clearly driving change and doesn't seem to be doing things in a half-arsed way

I’ll miss pretty much everything on social media, but the only content on the main site is some past player stuff (nothing wrong with that) and “the best of birdy”.

Hardly smacks of being a content machine that’s going to titillate potential followers from far and wide - just yet.

agree and I think this is one key area that Pace thinks we can vastly improve - it's easy access to a world market if it's done well. We now have 393 thousand instagram followers, I've no idea what it was a year ago but I'd be surprised if it was that much

the numbers may look good to some but we are miles behind. As always the difficulty with social media presence is how many of those followers are unique - Man Utd are famous for adding all their followers up into a single number and claiming them all to be unique and then saying they have 100's of millions of fans - which is nonsense and explains why they are not valued in the same way as tech companies however much they want to be.
