Thanks for the reports this season Tony, it must be difficult, when on quite a few occasions there hasn't been much to write about !
Not to worry, we have the excitement of the transfer window to look forward to. 😁
Happy close season.

As in your report CT, all a little depressing, a 5 out of 10 season as you said in the Observer.
Here’s to next season!

The fact that you sit in front of the TV to watch it takes so much away and leaves a lot less to write about. It really has been difficult this season doing the match reports.

Another thanks for the match reports. Like a number of supporters, I guess, I think our season ended after we beat Fulham. I've seen this sort of 'form' many times at the end of hard seasons but it has to be said that 2020/2021 has been like no other in my experience. Just have to wait and see what happens next.

I agree with everything that you say Tony. Just one thing you've got Pope in the line up.

Part of me is glad the season was as poor as it was in patches.

Had we played well all season, won more, scored more along with the wins at Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton & Wolves plus the weekends away in London I would have hated that even more missing every game.

Hopefully we are back in next season and it is a more enjoyable season.

We survived a very difficult season and that is the top and bottom of it We live to go again next season and we are very clearly in the hands of the new owners. Who goes. Who Stays. Who do we sign. The owners have know for a while that we would be playing Premier League next season. I hope they have spent that time and the next 2/3 months wisely. Sheffield United looked a good team before this season. Their results this season show how easy it is to be relegated. Plenty of hard work and cash needed at Turf Moor this summer

One foul conceded in a match. Is that some sort of record?

Thanks CT-I thought you may have put more of a positive spin on it, but in fairness you reported it just at it was. Like most of us we appear to have been "footballed out" with so many televised games almost every day of the week. By the way-an easy slip, but you have Pope in goal in the team listing

Thank God we didn't need the points in the last few games! We do really suffer when we lose our regular keeper/defenders!

I'd picked up on the Pope error from an earlier post and corrected it.

Footballed out, that sums it up really. Even yesterday I watched three with the play offs. It's been too much and maybe now I can catch up on other stuff on the TV.

Difficult to put a positive spin on it although we never looked like conceding another goal against a very poor Sheffield United and we should have had that penalty.

Just pleased to see the back of the 2020/21 season.

Thanks for providing the reports throughout the season, Tony. Hope you’re able to enjoy the summer and come back refreshed for pre-season. I wonder if the SD will have his squad running up and down the field with tractor tyres again...

Thanks for the reports.
I must admit to also finding the TV games becoming tiresome to the point I was grateful when we weren’t playing on a Saturday or all weekend. Never been like that before, usually keenly anticipate the games.
