SO the big question is..... England Group game v the Czechs, 0-0 , 89th minute and Vydra picks up the ball just outside the England box. What do you want to happen ? Personally I'll admit I think I'd want him to smash it into the top corner !

I'd get behind England but not with that clown in charge.

He's a failure and a joke.

Semi finals... he should have been fired if we DIDN'T get there!

well deserved...he's really taken his opportunities this season!

If it was 0-0 in the last minute and Vydra had the ball at his feet then there is a 9/10 chance the game will end 0-0.

some much needed rest and recuperation for our lads this summer - hopefully with a full preseason we have a bit more success next season

Don't be daft.... he isn't European

So Matej will line up against England & Scotland in the group stage, that's definitely a chance for him to send a message to a lot of people in the UK.

Good luck MV and hope you bag a few goals to boost your confidence come pre-season, he's been a major factor in our improvement in the 2nd half of the season, and it's hard to imagine him and Wood not being a pairing now.

England with that failure Southgate are a joke. He even had an attack coach nobody had heard of resign. Vyds will have a great tournament.

Even though he's the only one, it's good to have a Burnley player at the Euros...hope he has a great tournament.

I wonder if by instinct he will walk towards the dugout on 75 minutes to be substituted?

Vydra might do his usual and need 100 chances to score a goal. Mind you the tournaments not that long

As well as showing us what a good footballer he is, he's also shown to be a model professional.
Can't have been easy for him hardly getting a look in for so long.
I hope he has a memorable tournament and bangs a few in.

I watched the Czech qualifying matches: Matej was mainly used as a substitute and, unless one of the other strikers is unavailable, we'll probably see him start on the bench.

Gotta admire Vyds professionalism, bided his time and always popular with the fans and couple of sweet goals too . He’s not quite good enough for the Prem but could well stay another season . Love to see him score in the Euros

If Sam Vokes can score against Belgium in a quarter-final of the Euros, then Matej Vydra can certainly score in the Group stages ....
