No surprise, Brady was playing well when he got a run in the side earlier in the season.

Pieters above Vydra.
His cheerleaders didn't see that coming

And Wood, incredibly, behind Vydra.

That will be down to those who do the ratings along these lines
Wood 4 - missed a good chance again
Vydra 8 - missed a good chance but at least he was there to miss it

When Wood was poor earlier in the season he was really poor. Probably carrying some injury.
Suspect that’s what hit his average.

It’s an interesting point.
Although people were queuing up to have a go at Vydra after the Leeds game, not so much Wood after the Liverpool game.

Our back 5 the top 5. No surprise but keeping them together is vital. Then improve the front 6.
Dwight deserved no more than 6.3. Many good games but far too many where he put his shift in but produced nothing. He needs to get back to taking on his marker and crossing. His major asset when he broke into the side. Admittedly he has been trying to do this more the last month of the season.

Looks about right to me apart from Wood being too low , shows where we are sadly lacking, midfield.

6.21 for Chris Wood
Would he be having to score 56 league goals to get close to 7?...

It says a lot about the team when the top six scores are our defensive five.

Westwood only level with Brownhill and below Vydra
That will stick in the throats of some experts on here
I would certainly have Wood in the top 5 purely based on effort and the constant changes in partners

Really not that surprising that Chris Wood is so low down the list when you think about it. He was excellent for the final third of the season, in which he picked up 8 of his goals, but was pretty poor for the rest of the season prior to that. I think most would agree he is our best striker by a distance, but good ratings for one third of the season, combined with poor ratings for the other two thirds should lead to a fairly poor rating overall.
Vydra has played less games than Wood, and more of those have been during the phases of the season in which we have been playing well, benefiting his average score. He has also had a higher proportion of his appearances in cup competitions, generally against weaker opposition, which will have also brought his score up.
