To say their manager is the best in the world, and a tactical genius, he doesn't half make some strange decisions with that 1bn squad of his.
City looked as clueless and toothless as we do when we are at our worst!

To say he’s the best manager in the world, you’d expect a little more than taking ‘almost certain to win’ teams, splashing the cash and flat track bullying their domestic competitions.
Last night was baffling.

Seems as though you have the same effect on your golf opponents too, Flixton.

He's probably started to believe the hype himself.
Bizarre team selection, i can only assume he thought his team were unbeatable, no matter how he sent them out.

Pride comes before a fall, and Pep was certainly brought back down to earth last night, perhaps he'll learn harsh lessons from this chastening experience, although given his supersized ego I wouldn't bank on it.
I know he's amassed masses of silverware at City, but until he leads them to the holy grail of the CL questions will be asked about how good he actually is, because it's not like previous City managers before him hadn't also tasted domestic success, and then failed when it came to the ultimate test.
Compare Pep to Tuchel, Tuchel was on the losing end with PSG last year, took over a struggling Chelsea side mid-season, didn't bring any signings in that I recall, and he's transformed them into a solid unit within a few months who've now conquered Europe again, that's a true hallmark of a truly great manager.

There was very quickly only one guest remaining so no problem with social distancing.

That's about the norm when Col's around!
