Conor Gallagher
Not sure if this as been posted anywhere. But it looks as if he is out of contract. He seemed to play well at West Brom. Younger addition to our squad with lots of energy and a bit of a bite.
Re: Conor Gallagher
And for those reasons, we're out...
Re: Conor Gallagher
Signed a 5 year deal in Sept 2020

Re: Conor Gallagher
His loan spell at WBA has expired, and he is returning to Chelsea. Absolutely no way will he feature in the Chelsea squad next season. He is exactly the sort of player we want, and am sure we could try to get him on a season long loan on the basis he will feature regularly as he would compliment Westwood, have the legs, strength and athleticism over Cork, and he would save us paying upfront for a new player. Has made a big contribution every time he goes on loan-Charlton, Swansea and WBA. We need to move quick on these type of players as he will be in demand
Re: Conor Gallagher
Agree
Should be our No 1 loan priority (Chelsea will not sell)
Would add some pace and steel to our ageing central midfield
Add either Phillips or Tuanzebe as the second, allowed, British loan
Fees will have to be paid but worth it to stabilise for next season and allows us to use any additional monies to cover WR

Re: Conor Gallagher
Recent loanees from Chelsea, including Chalobah and Bamford, were given hardly any game time at all. Bamford made 6 appearances for just 33 minutes on the pitch. Cannot imagine any Chelsea loanees rushing here to get the same experience.

Re: Conor Gallagher
I think there’s going to be a few ‘squad’ players available this summer as clubs look to move on and square books.
I’d have a look at:
Garner on loan (United)
Tuanzebe on loan (United)
Loftus Cheek on a perm
Gallagher on a perm

Re: Conor Gallagher
He looked very good at Swansea. Not so much at West Brom.
Re: Conor Gallagher
Thought he was one of West Broms best players last season. Dominated our midfield at the Turf despite Brom playing with 10 men. Why can’t be target a permanent deal for him? Can’t see him breaking into that Chelsea midfield anytime soon although he may look at the likes of Mason Mount and think he stands a chance if he remains patient.

Not sure anyone at Chelsea would be arsed about either of those 2 being out on loan and not being good enough for us

You’ve used far too many words there.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 9:34 pmRecent loanees from Chelsea, including Chalobah and Bamford, were given hardly any game time at all. You could have just said “ Recent loanees from, were given hardly any game time at all.” and that would sum up most of the loans under Dyche

Re: Conor Gallagher
& bamford deteriorated after he left, missed a trick with that 1.
