Putting his incident with Tarks to one side, an excellent pro and fine career. That season for Palace in 2012/13? was fantastic.

That's a good knock. I saw that Kevin Ellison is in Newport's squad today and he's 42

Put a good shift in for Rochdale early in his career, never stopped trying and a good pro right to the end.

Brighton's penalty count dropped dramatically when he left.

Glenn Murray is one of those guys who's made the most of his ability, similar to Ash Barnes in a way both came through the lower divisions before proving they could score goals at PL level.

The writing was pretty much on the wall when he left for Watford earlier he obviously felt he'd had enough & didn't want to descend further down the leagues, 37 is a fair old age to hang your boots up so fair play I wouldn't be surprised if he's still involved in football in some way in a non playing capacity.
