What’s he supposed to do, announce speculation as fact? I’ve been aware of Rigg & Pepper for some time although I don’t believe the two are connected and I’m sure Chris has too.

Some struggle with the concept of separating fact and gossip.

Some journalists report facts and some report gossip and try to pass it off as fact. Sadly the gossip ones are the ones that seem to be judged as journalists these days.

Imagine if had done, crowds would have dwindled.

It's about the only thing that kept some of the fans on side.

If he had been anything other than a "massive fan" ( his words ) and not kept season ticket prices frozen ( which they had been for a while before he became chairman) then he would have been sussed out a lot earlier by a lot more.

more importantly let's hope whomever ALK bring in to run things like the Academy are the right choice. Our Academy hasn't really brought through enough viable options for the first team over the last (insert figure here) but it obviously started from a low place - the new guy starts with a great facility and no real excuses (that I can see from here)
