Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
We took three late wickets last night but couldn’t just get them all out by close of play.
Lancs are 12/0 in second innings from 3 overs.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Weather looks good down in Cardiff for the next few days (showers today seem to be well to the East of south Wales). Lets hope we can build a big lead today (into tomorrow even).
Only 4 bowlers used by Lancs in that first Glam innings; 3 wickets each for Mahmood and Baily; 3 between Lamb and Wood. Good effort.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Incredible to bowl them out for a first innings lead, but as has been the case for the last three or four seasons, even when we can’t score with the bat, our bowling attack hit the mark nine out of ten times. They’ve been that good!

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Looked just before lunch that we could build a big lead but doesn’t seem we are going to set them a big target now.

100 will probably be enough with them batting last on a wicket that has lost 28 wickets in a day and a halves play

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Lancs 164 all out, but a vital 40 runs added by the tail, leaves Glamorgan a target of 187, which if Lancs bowl well, and we normally do, should be enough to defend, could be a tight finish though.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Not going well today, Glamorgan 40-0, and well on their way to their modest target, Lancs need something to happen PDQ if we're to win this one.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
The way wickets have tumbled from decent starts in the 2nd & 3rd innings, I think Lancs are still well in this.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Game on again, now if we could just get rid of Labuschagne tonight we're right back in it.
Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Don't get too excited, we (Glamorgan) only win a couple at the beginning of the season and then maybe one at the end when someone else is on the beach.
We can still blow it from here or alternatively it can pisss down for three solid days. If the league table was based on rainfall, Lancashire is the only side that could ever compete with us......

Sadly, this is one that is beyond us now, unless we gave the session of all first sessions in the morning.

Beating the Yorkies last week took too much out of ‘em, running on empty, nothing left in the tank!

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
A wicket this morning for Lancs, but I fear it'll be too little too late, just 20 odd needed for Glamorgan now, and crucially Labuschagne still at the crease.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Looks all done and dusted. Not often in a game like this do you find the last innings bringing the biggest score but that’s more than likely now.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
A real poor second innings batting performance has cost Lancs. There were some dreadful shots - Livingstone just about the worst. I'd be giving them all a bollocking and several days net practice. Just not good enough.
Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
All over Glamorgan win by 6 wickets.

Re: Lancs v Glamorgan
Not ideal for Lancashire, but this defeat shouldn't be terminal to our hopes of finishing in the top 2, however it has made that task somewhat harder than it could have been.
Labuschagne had to score runs eventually, and sadly for Lancs he choose this innings to do so.
A break from the 4 day stuff now, and the white ball will take up the mantle over the next month or so.
