Currently odds on for the Everton job, it is being reported that Nuno Espirito Santo is on the verge of being appointed at Palace.

And as the merry-go-round continues, suggestions that Scott Parker will leave Fulham to join Bournemouth who will sack Jonathan Woodgate.

Everton will probably end up with Duncan Ferguson.

They can't have really had a proper interest in Nuno at Everton as there is nothing about Palace that should make someone say no to Everton but Yes to Palace

I don't understand why Scott Parker would leave Fulham. They were relegated because they had a lack of quality, but a bit of rebuilding and some continuity will see them bounce back with just as much chance as Bournemouth, and they might even stay up next season...

Apparently the owners son at Fulham gets a bit too involved for Parker's liking

Has the guy who left Bayern Munich recently, got a job yet?

He was heavily linked to be the next Germany coach.

Just thinking that Everton have had an Italian, Scotsman, Englishman, Portugese, Dutch and Spanish manager in recent times.
They could do with a German.

David Moyes is still well thought of at Everton and he doesn't seem to be signing the new contract on offer at WHU

I thought Nuno left Wolves due to his family being in Portugal and not being able to see them due to COVID? Strange to then go to Palace or Everton when the same restrictions will apply.

Take Nuno onto the away concourse at Goodson at half time that will allay his COVID fears!

I know of one Burnley manager in the Lord era who arrived for training one morning to find we’d made a signing.

Bizarre that he would consider Palace given Nuno's track record involves spending loads of money on players - surely Everton would be a better option

Certainly a strange one. I like Potter, think he plays a good brand of football. But not sure how he is being looked at ahead of the likes Dyche, Howe etc…

Sounds like it’s very close now. All agreed.

As an aside, West Brom also very close to appointing ex Huddersfield manager David Wagner.

It has! The talk is that West Brom didn’t really want to pay any compensation so have chosen a free agent and the hierarchy at The Hawthorns were put off Wilder by his strained relationship with the Sheff Utd owners.

Palace set a deadline of Wednesday for Nuno to respond to their offer of the Manager post. Looks like they have had a negative response. The Daily Mail reporting that they are moving to other targets namely Steve Cooper and Burnley's Sean Dyche. I presume the earlier approaches along with compensation figures for both must have been left open.
