Pre-season 1991 continues with a young goalkeeper coming in to join A & B teams and one first teamer signs a new deal

Some of his letters to the newspaper used to make me chuckle.
His heart was definitely in the right place though!

Neil Moore came out of the same Everton youth team.

Just shows where we are now. Those were very dismal days indeed and he was totally right.

Dismal days they may have been but I'm not sure the signing of a goalkeeper for the younger teams could be used to have a go at the club.

We have all done it ....on differing subjects. A Loyal fan is Malcolm as We Know .

Hello all,
Been meaning to ask Tony and indeed anyone who can remember. I was up in Burnley that summer (1991) and attended a pre-season friendly against Bury.
At least, I think it was 1991.
We lost but I can't recall the score.
I seem to remember David Lee playing.On checking he moved to Southampton that August.
Is my memory playing tricks or is all or any of the above correct?

It's a shame that Malcolm is highlighted in this way, the poor lad is being ostracised.
