Edgbaston pitch invasions

Post by Milltown1882 » Thu Jun 24, 2021 9:44 pm

Apparently 1500 tickets were given to students for the t20 tonight. After a seamless Test event vs New Zealand one t20 game ends up with five pitch invasions then this at the end of the game. Don’t think they’ll be invited back in a hurry!

The moral of that story is never give students a freebie. :)

Sometimes when you give the younger generation an offer there are times when things don't go to plan.

Think it was Forest away where we did £10 tickets and there were times when it looked like everyone who was under 21 and couldn't manage a full pint had all decided to go due to it being cheap and try drinking all day.

I think that was WBA away. The club might have provided free travel and had to provide stewards on coaches afterwards because of the behaviour shown.

Back to the cricket and fans should be allowed on the outfield after the cricket. Just keep off the square.

It was definitely WBA and the club provided free coach transport. We had loads of kids on our buses and a few problems.

We definitely did cheap tickets at Forest one year as well. The midweek game when Jay Rod slipped taking the penalty?

Black and white people invading a pitch is 100% the definition of white privilege

Yes that's right, if only all the others thought like that.

That way Michael Holding might shut the f**k up.
