Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 26th June for Alzheimer's Society

Today's the day after months of training, I finally have got to the day to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for the Alzheimer's Society Charity. This is a charity I hold dear and personal to myself as my Father sadly suffered in his late years.

I just want to thank anyone who has kindly sponsored me through the occasional links I have put on here. I want to especially thank ClaretTony for allowing me to post, JDRobbo for his positive and constructive comments throughout and finally to Leisure (Pete) and the generous donation on behalf of the Accrington Clarets.

I have so far raised over 4k, which I think for someone doing a solo charity raise and in these crazy times to be pretty amazing.

I will update again, on the other side of completion. If you haven't sponsored and would like to donate my Just Giving Page is linked below.

Thanks

Kurt

Good luck Kurt, hope it all goes well. The weather forecast is looking okay for you, hopefully the small amount of rain mentioned will stay away, a little overcast but good walking conditions. A great cause. Enjoy your day.

£4k is s great effort, well done.

My sister in law is walking it/them today for Alzheimer's too with her work.

I've walked 10 miles in the Peak District today and that was plenty enough. Fair play to anyone attempting 28.

Fantastic effort - 6 minutes under 12 hours. I've done it myself and it's bloody hard work. Massive well done.
