Who Now Overseas An Incoming Transfer
This is probably one for CT. Who currently overseas the signing up of a new player. Have to say the signing of Nathan Collins was done quickly, with relatively few bids, and we got him over the line before other clubs appeared to know what was happening. Very re-assuring to see after some past debacles. Who would have been the main man at BFC contacting him and his agent, negotiating with Stoke City and then agreeing terms, and arranging medicals etc. This all done with I believe SD on holiday at the time but no doubt with his blessing

Re: Who Now Overseas An Incoming Transfer
He did a jig poor ol Mr Rigg and 'long the plank he went. A few steps overseas with no transfer fees and duly the plank bent. A boon to Burnley, chairman standing sternly but poor ol Mr Rigg was spent.

This is possibly the least interesting/funny thread I have ever read on here. Some people really are painfully unfunny.
The OP asked a perfectly reasonable question.

It's the question which has led to the comments.burnley007 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 10:14 amThis is possibly the least interesting/funny thread I have ever read on here. Some people really are painfully unfunny.

Had he asked who oversees transfers it might only had led to a couple of replies
Only got himself to blame

Re: Who Now Overseas An Incoming Transfer
OK as opening poster who was the key man in our club that helped get Nathan Collins to sign his contract. I am assuming not Mr Rigg. Reason for asking being that it seemed to go through rather efficiently in comparison to attempts in the previous 2 to 3 windows

The ultimate persuader for any football deal regardless of the structure,
I would though hope that Dyche has the ultimate say when an an affordable target has been identified.
