An attacking line up, I would have preferred Grealish to start over Mount though.

Hard to drop into a back four when Trippier has played so well.

I'd personally like to see Foden start, it'll be interesting to see if both Mount and Sancho start - would be harsh on Saka.

Saka is injured. Took a knock in training yesterday.

Looking back at Ukraine results, the only one of note was a 1-1 draw with France a while back. The win against Sweden was their big success and have done well to progress to this stage. On paper at least England should have no problem tonight if they apply themselves properly as play as a unit, not as complete strangers that have been thrown together. I feel Ukraine will defend, so England will have to pass and move quickly, something they have yet to do.

Kane is a funny one.... Do you play him and hope he now plays through having scored, or take the chance to rest him and play DCL as target man with a tight 3 no10s behind him?

His stats would suggest he's actually being underused by Southgate, but the teams Southgate puts out are getting the results so...

Apparently German media and fans are surprised at how little Sancho has been getting used, will be interesting if he gets used more when he's starting at Utd instead of Dortmund.

Both Philips and RIce are on yellows, so yes I agree that Henderson should get the nod for one of them. Grealish and Rashford to come on when the game opens up.

I don’t think the set ups to date, especially the Germany game (despite him scoring) have been ideal for getting the best from Kane.

Whenever I’ve seen Foden, which admittedly isn’t that much, I’ve always thought he’d be better centrally than operating out left, which I think could really help bring Kane to life.

I don’t expect to see it but I’d love to see England with a forward line of:

Kane
Grealish, Foden, Sancho

The set ups so far have been effective if unspectacular. We’ve a hell of a lot to frighten other teams, but I can understand why Southgate plays it safer.

Why would you ever play DCL over Kane? as poor as Kane was 1st half against the Germans, he showed glimpses and then 2nd half he had a big hand in both goals.

I read today they've run 50km further than England so far in the tournament, all super fit and Shevchnko is all for the science and organisation. It won't be as easy as some people think.

Their 3-2 loss to Holland was very entertaining, and Yarmelonko is one of those who can be top class if he wants to be. Plus Zinchenko is quality.

They looked good going forward to me and played well in the second half against Holland. Capable of scoring goals of real quality. I don’t expect them to be as defensively organised as the Germans.

Agree with this but you can't possibly drop Sterling at the moment, tough one for Gareth. I personally think only one of Rice and Philips needs to start though.

Ukraine were knackered against Sweden. They used 6 substitutes and their players were getting cramp during the 90 mins never mind the extra time. I’m sure they will play for a penalty shoot out tonight. Watch them constantly throw themselves to the floor! I think they will hold us for 70 mins or so then they will tire and we score a few

Their winning header from the sub v Sweden was good though
