England and Denmark have only met once before in the Euro Finals, the game finished 0-0 and Denmark went on to win the tournament that year.

Schmeichel made his debut for Darlington in League Two on 14 January 2006 in a game which Darlington won 2-1 against Peterborough. James Quinn scored for the Posh after 26 minutes but Darlo scored through Paul Hopkins in 77 minutes and Kyle Lafferty, on loan from the Clarets, scored the winner in the 88th minute.

Pickford made his debut for Darlington in the Blue Square Premier League on 21 January 2012 when Darlington were beaten 1-0 at home by Fleetwood --Daniel Rose scored after 44 minutes.
His League debut was for Burton who played Cheltenham away in League 2 on 3 August 2013. This was a 2-2 draw with Jamie Cureton and Byron Harrison scoring fro Cheltenham and Billy Kee and Rory Delap scoring for Burton.
