Mark Butcher being a **** - ignoring the spirit of the game by insisting Croft should have been run out.

As I said above Bosscat….. don’t judge a pitch until both teams have batted.
Golden rule at T20.

Good win. Fair play to Yorkshire but well within their right to run Croft out.

Everyone talking about the game and Butcher is still going on about Croft.

Not a run fest but an enjoyable game.

Croft went down injured while running and Root told the keeper not to run him out

Good for him! That’s the old school sportsmanship that made cricket a bit different

Unlucky Yorkshire took a cheat or Lazurus and a sportsman to win/lose this.

Looks like the electrics gone down in Bury again…… it’s Karen I feel sorry for having to mop up all the tears…… Lancastrian tears crying at a Yorkshire loss…… but tears all the same.

Always had respect for Butcher but tonight he was banging on like a man possessed. Just wouldn't leave it alone and totally undermined the excellent sportsmanship shown by Joe Root. It's a 20/20 for goodness sake. Get a bloody grip!

Is there a rule in T20 that prevented Croft from asking for a runner?

I'm not sure you can call that easy, but we got over the line just, and ultimately that's all that matters.

And considering the players we were missing we've done remarkably well in the circumstances to reel off 3 wins on the spin under extreme pressure.

Combined with the rugby earlier, I make it Lancashire 2 Yorkshire 0 today. :)

Just? Home with an over to spare having played 10 overs of no risk cricket, just nudging and nurdling it around for 5 or 6 singles an over.

It was a canter.
