I think the return to Newcastle was his chance to set the record straight regarding his injury reputation. Think all it did was confirm he is not up to it.
Re: Andy Carroll anyone
Bradford captain better suited.

Re: Andy Carroll anyone
An emphatic no from me, crikey! buying Peter Crouch was bad enough, and given that we appear to be chasing younger talent this window I highly doubt Andy Carroll will even be on our list, let alone anywhere near the top of it.

Re: Andy Carroll anyone
He's not too young to be Captain of Bradford because big falls hard and his injuries make him 10 years older.
If you weigh 20 stone and fall out of a window you are more likely to die than if you weigh 10 stone because of the impact momentum on flesh and bone and organ of that mass.

No way Jose
It's sad to think back to just how good he looked the season before Liverpool bought him. The price tag seemed to mess with his head.

I'm at a loss to understand why anyone would think he is bound to be linked.

The only reason I said bound to be linked is that some (lazy) journalists appear to link us to every available striker.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 9:47 pmI'm at a loss to understand why anyone would think he is bound to be linked.

She wouldn’t have any problem counting his goals since going back to Newcastle

It wouldn't be one from the top, though, would it?
Because they're the large numbers.

It’s a massive yes from me based on that header against Sweden alone.

Re: Andy Carroll anyone
Carroll would be ideal for us ,as we like to put crosses in the box.Thats why we signed Crouch,as for using his elbows what about Barnes?Just cos he's got a bit of a reputation, what about Barton.Pay as you play impact sub

He’s the big striker to lump it up to. That’s how Burnley play apparently.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 9:47 pmI'm at a loss to understand why anyone would think he is bound to be linked.

Re: Andy Carroll anyone
What a wonderful way to unite this entire board after a series of petty squabbles. No, he's not linked, no, he probably never will be linked, but just put up that Andy (utter rubbish) Carroll is available and we have a totally united thread!! Brilliant and well done that man (or indeed lady!) who started it!!

What Leisure said.
Twice over, underlined and in capital letters.

Re: Andy Carroll anyone
No, please god. We do however need a striker to partner Wood imo, or an attacking midfield player in a 4411.

Re: Andy Carroll anyone
It's a no from me, but I would bet good money on Dyche trying to sign him.
Re: Andy Carroll anyone
NRC, you're nearer to 20 stone than I am, I guess.
