Have you taken your family to 20/20 matches at Edgbaston before for comparison or are the Hundred tickets much more affordable for a family?Longsider wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 10:12 amFamily night at the cricket last night at Edgbaston to see Birmingham Phoenix hammer Welsh Fire. Brilliant entertainment and a superb atmosphere. Ali hitting a hatrick of 6s and Phoenix finishing on a hatrick of wickets. My kids loved it. On the way back to the car afterwards my 8 year old daughter was reenacting the cover drive and my son his spin bowling.

Re: The Hundred
The Hundred is new because the ECB needed to break up the county system.
The counties would not accept franchise 20/20 so they invented the hundred.
All clubs are owned by the ECB who will look to create a IPL auction for the clubs if the hundred takes off.

Not done 20 20 with the children. The hundred has got them into cricket so would also do 20 20 as well.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 10:25 amHave you taken your family to 20/20 matches at Edgbaston before for comparison or are the Hundred tickets much more affordable for a family?
