Dream Shirt Sponsor
We all know what many think of our current and recent sponsors, but who would be your ideal?
I think some internationally recognised brand, preferably with local links would be great, but i can't see the likes of Warburtons, or AMS Neve seeing the necessary value in it.....
Maybe someone with historic links to the town like Michelin, although anyone in a figure hugging football shirt might not be so keen on the obvious jokes
(Im excluding charity partners, as that just isn't practical without some benevolent billionaire stumping up the lost revenue)

Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
Warburton family are all Bolton fans, so I doubt that would be a goer
Boo hoo would probably get as many complaints as betting companies do
I think we will have to put trust in the new owners for them to find the best deal out there.

Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
Boohoo is a reasonable shout tbh in terms of sheer profile and cash available. They could have a different one of their brands on each shirt

Has to be ' The Hut ' group. Their owner is a bit fan. I'd be knocking his door down to get on board.

I'd but up for Warburtons as shirt sponsors. I know they have some dough to splash around.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 4:20 pmWe all know what many think of our current and recent sponsors, but who would be your ideal?

Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
There is opportunity out there, following their Burger King deal ending, Stevenage have today announced Amazon Prime Gaming as their main shirt sponsor; not bad for League Two. I would have taken either of those two for Burnley.
Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
Ford or Jeep. I know Man U get big bucks from Chevy, but I can't imagine we'd be asking for anything near that amount, but the company would still get a lot of views of their logo.
Edit: I really should stop watching The Grand Tour. Can't get cars out of my mind now.

Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
Dream sponsor? What the heck is that? There is no sponsor that I would “dream” of having. I hate all these advertisers.

Always wonder why the big supermarkets have never sponsored teams ?
Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
Waitrose used to sponsor Reading and I’m sure Tesco sponsored someone many moons ago.PadihamThickNeck wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 5:47 pmAlways wonder why the big supermarkets have never sponsored teams ?

Wizards Inc. (aka Hasbro games).
Owners of Dungeons and dragons, would help our wingers and we could replace VAR with equally reliable dice rolls.

Re: Dream Shirt Sponsor
It did say dream sponsor. And to be honest, I think most companies would make decisions based on their business value over their allegiance.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 7:22 pmLike said above Warburton’s management/owners are all Trotters…. A fan group sponsor, with the names or images of some of our heroes emblazoned on the front of the shirts.
