No thread today? Clitheroe beat Norden and Colne lost again

Lowerhouse were woeful again, all out for 137 after 42 overs with Darwen knocking off the easy win scoring 140/2 after 20.4 for a 12 point haul. Th'ouse are now nervously looking over their shoulders, hoping that 2 teams are worse than they are (which appears to be the case for Colne and Crompton).

Burnley beat Colne but only gained 10 points for their win.

Think that was last week

I think a lot to do with both town teams games being postponed. House will be playing their original game in hand at home against Middleton tomorrow. Hope the weather holds up but we all saw an example of the Lowerhouse micro climate in midweek. Hopefully the Price won't be right either :D

If we are getting beat by the same team by the same score two weeks running I genuinely would be worried.

"Th'ouse are now nervously looking over their shoulders" ....aye alreet...

I just hope covid doesn’t have a impact on the final league standings because I think it’s going to be a very good and tight run in

Colne were 70 for 7 when I turned up but managed to rally to about 140. Rochdale knocked them off without too much trouble though.

Not sure on the situation with Parry but this is a rearranged game so he might not be available.
House 217/2 with 9 overs left. Rehman 51no Joe Martin 76no

No need to play the rest of the game. The Price is Right will finish 178 not out and lead Middleton to victory

Well that is more or less what happened in the reverse fixture when we failed to defend 250ish.

Heading that way but gifting him lots of runs bowling at his legs with only 2 on the leg side. Wayward.
48 no in a 70/2. 17 gone.

Years of watching Colne teaches you how to create optimism from very little material!

Much needed win that.

Hadn’t realised the Pro was coaching in the 100 on finals day, it’s a shame but I’ve a feeling that will be a really competitive final

Not a " pro " anymore, married to my God-daughter who's a Burnley girl, and plays as an amateur. He works at both Stonyhurst College and coaches at the University of Manchester.

The games he was likely to miss were never guaranteed play dates I don’t think, and there are only a few he will miss, was today not a reserve date for the cup semi final?
He’s coaching the Manchester women’s squad today I heard.
