Tickets v Brighton
Hi, does anyone yet if I'll be able to get tickets for the Brighton game?
All ticket news so far is about season tickets, rather than individual games, as an exile I can only manage the odd game. Already booked a hotel, so fingers crossed!!

Re: Tickets v Brighton
Does anyone actually know what's going on i.e. will any spectators will be allowed v Brighton ?
Re: Tickets v Brighton
Nothing on the website about tickets for individual games yet. I’d imagine the club are busy dealing with season tickets at the moment given the short time between the early bird deadline and the first game.
I see absolutely no reason why walk-ons won’t be allowed though. We’re operating at full capacity and we certainly won’t get near that through season tickets alone.

That's what I'm hoping, but the closer it gets, the harder it is for us exiles to plan anything!

Just had a look on Brighton’s website to see if they had them on sale for their fans but nothing yet.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
Interestingly, Brighton have announced ticket sales for their first three home games. They will be available via Apple Wallet or Google Pay. If you don't have a smart phone you must email them with a copy of your passport or driving licence along with a separate clear face pic.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
I’d imagine the club want to give it a week to sell any additional ST’s and allow those fans that want them to secure their seats before putting tickets on general sale.
No update on Liverpool away the following week yet either.

Yes, it will get complicated if you buy a ST but a walk on has bought your seat for the first couple of games.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
I have just checked each Premier League side's websites and below are the teams who have sales on for the first game of the season;
Brentford (Some tickets cost £60)
Chelsea (general admission sold out)
Aston Villa (Not on sale yet but confirmation on their site they have 2,292 tickets for Watford away and on sale soon)
Man City (Nothing for away v Spurs on first game, but each of their home games all season available to buy on their site)
So out of 20 clubs only 2 so far have had tickets on sale, and Chelsea sold out, but Villa being away know their allocation but nothing on sale yet.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
Just seen the prices, the concessions creeping up at Burnley. I think the middle two were previously £20 and the bottom category was under-18.
Adult (23-64): £30.00
Senior (65+): £22.50
Age 17-22: £21.00
Under-17: £15.00

Not really a surprise given the rise in inflation + COVID financial hit plus it’s only a couple of quid.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 10:57 amJust seen the prices, the concessions creeping up at Burnley. I think the middle two were previously £20 and the bottom category was under-18.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
Brighton given 2354 tickets, is that full allocation for the away end?

Can't see much staying the same or becoming cheaper for quite a while. I think one of the next steps will be to remove the season ticket offers for concessions/child prices from prime seats, which could be sold at a higher price.
Re: Tickets v Brighton
On the season ticket info on the Club website it's showing U16 not U17. I've asked the TO for clarification.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 10:57 amJust seen the prices, the concessions creeping up at Burnley. I think the middle two were previously £20 and the bottom category was under-18.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
This is for away tickets where the adult price has a fixed maximum. It’s led to clubs upping their concession prices, Southampton.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 12:16 pmCan't see much staying the same or becoming cheaper for quite a while. I know that, my reply was in line with ticket prices being upped for concessions. All ticket prices will go up in the next 12 monthsClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 12:34 pmThis is for away tickets where the adult price has a fixed maximum. Re: Tickets v Brighton
Agree and the away concession prices at West Ham are way over the top. I think they were £25 for all classes.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 12:34 pmThis is for away tickets where the adult price has a fixed maximum. It’s led to clubs upping their concession prices, Southampton.

Re: Tickets v Brighton
No free under 10 season tickets in JMU in second phase!
Is this the end of that scheme to encourage young supporters in the family stand?
