Rangers play Livingston at 1.30pm with Celtic away at Hearts at 8pm.

Tough game for Celtic they could be playing catch up already.

I can't see anything other than a comfortable league win for Steven Gerrard's Rangers. The Celtic manager won't last long.

I'm not usually a fan of Scottish football but I might give these a watch

Me and a few mates are in Glasgow for the racing at Hamilton Park, might get quite lively later.

Surprised nobody has come in for the Rangers right back James Tavernier. Incredible goals and assists stats from right back. Would be perfect for us.

Ah! I wondered why he wasn't even on the bench, however I can't see any mention of Scotty in the GC, so it's possible he has called team on his international career, given the hectic schedule that awaits Rangers, and all the travelling involved I wouldn't blame him TBH.

Rangers do have a big CL qualifier coming up on Tuesday, so SG could well be rotating his large squad, and Arfield is usually one of his go to men in their bigger games.

There's been a lot of speculation surrounding his future, however Rangers have slapped a £25m price tag on his head, and he's their current skipper, and tied down to a new long term contract, so if anybody wants him they'll have to stump up big bucks to tempt Rangers into selling.

Now that's not to say they won't, especially as they have young Nathan Patterson waiting in the wings to succeed James Tavernier, but they can afford to play hard ball and demand top money.

I certainly couldn't see why he'd be interested in a move to Burnley, Rangers can offer regular European football, if not in the CL, then certainly in the EL, where they've managed to have some good runs in recent seasons.

I think most the fans realise that he’s been dealt a bad hand.

Will be given time as long as he can improve them and be relatively competitive .

He’s had a rough start and iv watched all their competitive games so far this season, Celtic have been the better side in all them games but have still found a way not to win. That can become a habit very quickly.

Similar to last season, they can't convert their pressure into goals when they're on top in games, and perhaps more crucially they keep shipping soft goals, if you can't put the ball in the net at one end, and can't keep it out at the other, what you do in the rest of the pitch doesn't matter.

AP will be given a grace period I think, and Celtic badly need to get bodies through the door, their squad yesterday contained loads of kids, now you might get away with one or two being gradually introduced alongside your experienced first teamers, but not as many as they've been forced to blood, due to injuries, and lack of squad depth.
