Vinnie Steels was seen at Banny's chip shop today so that could be both left and right wings sorted for this season

Only two I can think of who were released and then re-signed are Leighton James & Lenny Johnrose.
Seen quite a few other players return who hadn’t previous been released but sold.

James was resigned several times as he got older and we tumbled down the leagues

We nearly resigned a young player in the 1980s, Mark Allen (this may have been the John Benson season 84-85). He was well thought of at the time but was released in 1983. I saw him on trial in a reserve game at Wolves where I thought he looked good. Of course we didn't re-sign him! Looking at his career that seems the right decision:

He turned down a new contract with us in 1998 but returned on loan during the promotion season although didn’t play.

If anyone came back id rather it be Hendrick, at least he did something when he was here (goals, assists)
