They are close to selling Lukaku for not much short of £100 million.

Chelsea should hang on with their £97.5m bid for Lukaku then.

Lot to take in there.
It’s going to be a rough few weeks for Mbappe. He’s going to leave in the next few weeks but PSG won’t listen to any offers.

Who’s running the account? Cricketfieldclaret?

Inter Milan's finances are very complicated - since May there has been an agreement waiting to be ratified with American PE group Oaktree Capital Management which involved a loan and the acquisition of a minor stake in the club - reports suggest the loan was finally signed off on Thursday

however that same day a Inter President was subject to a court hearing over $250m of unpaid loan repayments

Suning the majority shareholders in Inter have had a terrible time during the pandemic, earlier this year the Chinese state took a large share holding in the company to ease liquidity issues and in the last two months forced the company to sell significant stakes to rival organisations - there is also the sad tale of their Chinese club who were league Champions then dissolved a few months later

The inter fans I know aren’t happy with the reigime and we’re never happy with the manager despite winning the league.

I would take Perisic as a stop gap for a couple years.

Could Inter Milan be the first of many big clubs to hit the rocks, I sincerely hope this isn't the case, but perhaps the pandemic and resulting economic hit has pushed a few over the edge.

Hopefully tales such as this will jolt footy back into reality, and the crazy spending will be scaled back, however after seeing the likes of City splashing £100m on Grealish, and Chelsea spending a similar fee on Lukaku I wouldn't hold my breath alas.

Are Barcelona in a similar position - having to sell players because of their financial state?

Can't be that bad, they are signing Dzeko from Roma.
