What are you looking forward to?
With Saturday being the first home game for many since February 2020, what are you most looking forward to on Saturday?
For me, for this Saturday I am looking forward to seeing football friends I have not seen since February 2020 and the plans are in place to meet early and enjoy a full day together.

Another step to normality.
Going to a game was something I just took for granted.

Re: What are you looking forward to?
A day on the lash, missing last train home, ending up staying over in Burnley, going home Sunday having to pay for the train again with hangover then having to go out for tea to make up for not getting back the same day
Can't wait

Re: What are you looking forward to?
Being told all is well re fans attending then we will come back
Re: What are you looking forward to?
We are heading south for a UK tour and decided to start it a day earlier ( Saturday rather than Sunday ) so we could enjoy a big braii, and plenty of beers whilst watching the game with the South African clarets.
I went on all the friendlies but it didnt wet the appetite quite like I thought it might, so have decided to avoid the game Saturday,.
Hopefully a planned day on beer with some mates bank holiday Sunday, and the game v Leeds will do the job.
A win and or a couple of signings before then will lift everyones spirits I'm sure.

Listening to the wrong half time ticket announcements again
Re: What are you looking forward to?
Few beers, meeting up with friends, just walking through the turnstiles and seeing the pitch. Seeing Cornet and Gomes being introduced to the crowd at half time
Re: What are you looking forward to?
Standing outside the Park view with a pint just soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the feeling of being in a crowd again.

3 POINTS.
Re: What are you looking forward to?
2.55pm and Times Like These comes on over the PA system. Hopefully I will have had a couple of pints by then so I'll be in the mood to sing along. Just the feeling of being back in the ground after all this time, I work in Burnley and I can see the ground from our offices. I drive past the ground each and every weekday. So it's a step towards normality again, agree with Bordeaux claret on this one.

Re: What are you looking forward to?
Routine. Meeting my dad, brother and nephews and walking to the ground together. Going our seperate ways to where we sit. Then meeting up afterwards to talk about the match and the result and out the world then take the long route home just chatting about the match and the next one coming up.
Something I totally took for granted. But every Saturday we all saw each other and that’s not happened much at all over the last 18 months.
Bumping into others we only / mainly only see at the game. Maybe have a beer with them.
90 minutes of not thinking about anything other than what’s in front of us.
The result is immaterial to a degree. The performance even less so. It’s the day out.

Looking forward for the window closing. Nervously excited about games being back on again but I'll miss going on.

Re: What are you looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to those lucky enough to be going to the game creating an atmosphere the team and occasion deserve. We have one of the quietest supports in some games for some reason, the lads need our help - so if you're going, take some throat lozenges and sing your hearts out for the lads
