Well the random picture of Bertie appearing on Twitter a few days ago now makes sense.

Genuinely moving video which sums up the last 18 months.

Can't wait to get back!!

It is a moving video, that sums the feelings of most, if not all, supporters about tomorrow

Yet there are some criticising it already

Quite moving that when you see the grey haired old bloke with an empty seat next to him...well done who ever responsible for that.

Excellent video. As someone who now lives in York (granted it’s not the moon) and now have a 4 month old son I won’t be getting on many games this season but I can’t wait to get back to the Turf at some point in the near future.

A lot of work must have gone into the video and the end result is brilliant.

Outstanding that, and I did shed a tear.

For all the arguments on here about transfers, owners, covid, politics and yes, the colour of paint - that sums it all up.

Absolute quality. I am in Spain so will be watching on TV with other Clarets. Envy all those that get to go the Turf again. Get behind the lads and get 3 points.

I’m not crying, I’ve just been chopping onions!!

You’d have to have a cold heart not to find that at least a little bit moving.

Also did anyone also hear the "smell of pies and burgers" line?

Is that a hint that burgers will be on the HT menu?
I do like burgers, mmmm

Wow, not what I expected on a Friday morning...a tear jerker.

We've lost somebody dear to us since the last time we could all go on properly. Tomorrow will be emotional for a lot of people for a lot of reasons.

Tomorrow will be my first home game without my dad being beside me since I was a child.

He's thankfully still with us but his terminal illness means he isn't well enough to come. This video just sent shivers down me when I saw the empty seat. Iv'e opted not to renew my ST in 'our' seats as I don't know I could stand it when that day comes.

Looking forward to tomorrow, and I'll be calling him to tell him all about it. Win, Lose or draw. We are Burnley.

Absolutely brilliant video, really well produced. Love Jordan North and what he does for our profile as a football club, just seems like a top bloke who has done ever so well for himself and always mentions us on R1. Can't be there tomorrow as away, please take all your emotions with you tomorrow and let it out in a roar for the lads!!!!! I'll be watching from a distance. UTC

I can relate to this. My Dad is a bit beyond going now but great memories of going with him. Hope you enjoy your day.

Nothing to add really, it's all been said on this thread. I found it very moving.

All this talk of no signings, going down in five years etc. Forget it, that's a reminder of who we all are - we're Clarets.

I too can relate to the post. We lost our father to COVID last month. He is the reason I am a Claret and many more in Gt Harwood are Clarets. Certainly brought a tear to my eye. UTC

Great video and great message behind it… however if you was feeling a certain way would it make you feel better spending £50 to watch Burnley play Brighton?

Yeah, it's really really sad. I've bought a ticket tomorrow with my girlfriends son, he's currently a Man Utd 'fan' lets hope he catches that bug.

A friend of mine who is a Sunderland fan lost her dad last year and went and sat in the same seats, says she wish she hadn't.

Sorry to hear about your dad.

There’s an old chap, he wouldn’t mind me calling him that, who I always chat to briefly on our hopes and expectations for the game ahead, on the way up to my seat in the Longside upper, he’s always there cos I’m always late or last minute, and it crossed my mind this morning that I hope to see him, not an empty seat or someone else on that seat, on the way up to mine.

If we belong and care about people’s wellbeing why put the prices up? Some people may belong but have been priced out / lost job due to Covid causing more stress and worry? That’s the link
