Worst job in football. Worst possible job for Dyche

Not a chance would he be given the time to sort out a new mentality amongst the kings of entitlement

He'd soon sort out their lack of motivation and the apathy around the place.

The problem Arsenal have had is the same problem they had 15 years ago. They never replaced their defence and spine of their team. They still miss Vieira and Seaman, and that back 4 of Dixon, Adams, Keown, Winterburn. They did have Kolo Toure and Lehhman (sp), but that was short lived. They have also lost their identity. They need to build their side around the good young local players they have who care about the club, and sign actual leaders. I still maintain that if Wenger has not inherited that amazing back 5, they wouldn't have had the same success.

Quite agree. George Graham had sorted the core of that side, and created the discipline in defence for Wenger to build on.

Not a chance, Dyche does not fit into what the top clubs want. I personally feel that Dyche would be a perfect England manager

Can't see many of Arsenals fanbase being too enthralled with a Dyche appointment.

I don’t think Dyche will go to Arsenal yet. I think we might see Rogers going and Dyche going to Leicester.

Horrendous club, and if he went and failed it would good for the entire nation.

He's no chance, unless changes his name to Seano Dychio.

If they had the balls to appoint him he could become George Graham II there.

If we take off under our new owners it could happen. :geek:

He'd have been an absolutely perfect fit for the old fashioned pre-Wenger Arsenal.

I genuinely think given backing Dyche would easily be a top six manager , some of our best football has been played under him during the Defour era and at other times we really do turn on the style.
Defence is a crucial element of football and on his budget our defence under him has always been in the main top drawer.

Perfect fit at one time. Seriously.
When they ran the club like a business and stayed behind a manager it would have been the ideal job for him. If they were looking to go back to what they let Wenger do, then like I say, he'd be a good fit.

There's as much evidence of Dyche being able to succeed with a top 6 club and all the challenges that come with it as there is for Pep or Klopp being able to succeed at Burnley with all its challenges.

No! Arteta has proved hopelessly out of his depth at Arsenal, just shows that being a good assistant doesn't mean you'll make a good manager.

Brian Kidd was another who achieved much as a number 2, but woefully failed when he stepped up to the plate at Rovers.

I can't see Dyche being on Arsenal's radar, and why would Rodgers leave Leicester, he's building a great destiny at the KP, whereas Arsenal are a shambles right now, and any new manager would need at least a couple of years to sort them out.

Dyche to Leicester, no I don't see that either not now, a couple of years ago perhaps, but that was when Sean Dyche's stock was at it's peak.

Dyches stock is absolutely SKY HIGH in the footballing world. The England manager phones him, Sir Alex phones him and so on.

Funny that when some posters on this forum think SD is tactically inept and slow to make substitutions among other failings.

I think I'll value the opinion of Alex Ferguson and Gareth Southgate over a bunch of keyboard warriors who've probably never coached or managed in their life, and certainly not at the level those guys have.

Brian Kidd woefully failed at bstards ? Oh I really don't think so.

Tiger, come on...
What should we all do when a question is asked?
Stock reply: "don't ask me, ask Sir Alex or Gareth". :D
