Cordless lawnmower advice

Are they any good? Also are they reliable?
I like the idea of cordless electric but don't want the aggro of a petrol machine.
My lawn is about 30x30ft and about 30 X 10 at the front - from what I gather it could probably be cut on one battery and most mowers come with 2.
Anyone got any recommendations? Also is a 40-44cm with paying the extra over a 32cm to get it done quicker or is another couple of goes up and down not worth paying another hundred quid or so for?

I've got a Spear and Jackson 40 cm with the single battery, and it is excellent.
40 volts and one hour charging, good size grass box.
I was amazed how much time I saved not faffing about with the cables.
Argos have the twin battery version in stock for £270, my neighbour, who has similar sized lawns to you, bought the dual battery model and can cut both comfortably on two batteries.

Just got an electric at Aldi. €110 the mower, 2x€30 for the batteries. It appears that petrol lawnmowers will soon be history.

Just bought a husqvarna cordless mower from balmers about two months ago and it’s significantly sped up the time taken to cut the lawns, it’s super easy and fast now with no messing about wires and extensions.
Now it cost me about £600 for everything, but I did go for the top of the range battery and charger along with the mower. Mower has 10 cut Lengths, it’s so easy to operate
Benefit of this is that it’s a super fast charge, think it takes about 30 min to charge the battery from flat, and can get about 90-120 min mow time from that.
The battery also fits other machines, hedge trimmer, strimmer etc. No doubt you can probably get it cheaper, with a less recognised brand.
It’s cut the time spent doing the garden in half as can get it all cut and strimmed in half the time.

There is a thread I contributed to last year you might want to look up. I looked at and researched loads. I nearly bought a green works cordless but ended up buying this one being ergonomic.
Bosch 0600885D73 Cordless Lawnmower Rotak 32 LI (32 Volt, 1 Battery 2.0 Ah, Cutting Width: 32 cm, Lawns up to 150 m².
It’s really good. The only issue is that it’s only got three cutting heights, I’d have preferred five and when you take a full grass box from the mower some grass falls out the box, not enough to bother me. I paid £309.00 I missed their reduction offer for one week only at that time. If your keen look at it on Amazon, it’s currently on offer at £218 instead of £369. I had an electric flymo with integrated grass box before but this one surpasses that. Do your research first, to be honest I don’t think there’s that many bad ones about. Good luck with whatever one you chose.

I’d go for a blade at 22.5 degree pitch. Anything else is pure madness.

Cheers. Got the 37 one with 2 batteries for a couple quid more.
Looked at the Argos one but the nearest one was in fort William with no delivery option!

As with any lawn mower, indeed any piece of gardening equipment: Never buy one of a size/weight larger that the wife can comfortably cope with.
