Certainly busier in the AWAY end

Watched in the Underground bar in Benalmádena, sounded like a cracking atmosphere, Burnley outsang Leeds on TV.

Looked like social distancing except in CFS

Can’t find the attendance anywhere. Not hugely important in the grand scheme of things but me and my mate always play our own “guess the gate” for a bit of fun.

The attendance for the Brighton game didnt seem to appear for a couple of days either

I found the Brighton one on the BBC write up fairly soon after the game. But not today

Lots of Leeds fans in Jimmy Mac upper. Two really poor home attendances so far.

Some Leeds fans in JML. It threatened to get out of hand once Leeds scored.

Stewards did nothing, of course.

Indeed, but given that they were in our end too, there should be a strategy for having them removed. One steward on his own isn't going to do it.

Still think holiday season is playing its part. Etihad was half empty vs Arsenal yesterday & the directors box being empty is just bizarre!

Hopefully back to more normal levels by next game.

The attendance at games were part of the results but not now apparently.

I recall a few years ago one of the senior stewards having a right go at a few Burnley fans for objecting to her finding some City fans a seat among us in the JHL. She went in a right strop and suggested we were being unwelcoming

I noticed the same but in the newly installed corporate seats at the back of the JHL. Not sure what the rules are in those seats but anything other than home supporters is asking for bother. I presume the old corporate offering was behind the windows so practically invisible, whereas the new set-up allows them to take a seat outside, presumably in between prawn based amuse-bouche.

The club could do with someone who would relay that sort of information, such as the attendance to the press… maybe we need a Media Manager?

Maybe they could offer some sort of "family package" (I've no idea if they currently do), it's expensive to buy 4 tickets (for example). Surely some sort of discount package would get more bums on seats ?

Hi Viva! There's no need for any of that. According to the experts on here it's still all down to holidays and Covid!

There were Leeds fans all over the home ends today, from what I've heard. Should not be happening.

Difficult for me to judge as I'm obviously not there, just throwing ideas around of what if anything the club might try

The people justifying the price hike by saying we've been under paying for a long time must not understand Burnley as a town and the supply and demand market. Are we the only town team in the PL?

Comparing our ticket prices to what Bournemouths were is ridiculous, they had 10,000 capacity (so 50% less tickets available) and Bournemouth is a town 5x the size of Burnley in a wealthier part of the country.

We don't play the most exciting football, our home form has been poor for a while and the shine of the PL has wore off.

Ticket sales is such a small %, if they made tickets cheaper they would likely make up a big % of the difference in income from selling food/drink to the extra fans in the ground. Also surely the club is more marketable with bums on seats, it's not a good look on TV with so many empty seats. Not to mention the potential impact on the team with a few extra fans in.

ALK need to sort it out somehow, even if they fill the JML with school kids on free tickets, who cares, it's better than them left completely empty.

Most of our crowd were still queuing to get in at 5 to 2!

The Brighton attendance was nowhere near what was announced. I’d have said closer to 14K inside the ground for that one. The Leeds game had a lot more on, but still lots of spaces.

I wasn't sure what the issue was yesterday, but I turned up in good time (at my usual time) and found myself in a long queue to get in and missed the first 8 minutes. I've never had it before and hope it's not going to be a regular thing. I'm in the JHU.

Against Brighton it was because they’d put the gate numbers on the temporary signs above the turnstiles, but not whether they were upper or lower tier.

I suppose you take it for granted, but many hundreds of people were confused, queuing in the wrong queues, then trying to quiet jump, whilst some turnstiles had nobody queueing. The stewards stood there with fingers up backside watching it all happen.

There were definitely a lot of Leeds fans in the home end yesterday. I was in JHU with my dad and there was at least 4 different groups of Leeds fans. No problem with it at all they were respectful and didn’t cause any trouble.

I am assuming it will happen a few times this season when the away allocation sells out

I didn't notice any Leeds supporters in JMU.

It was odd seeing the directors' box almost empty.

Nope. Just gives a letter, which doesn't match what's on the season ticket either. Had a few asking me yesterday which queue I was in.

You would have thought that, if you were invited to “corporate hospitality” as a supporter of the away team, you would know how to behave without embarrassing your hosts.
