Can you name a Band/Artist That has recorded a Lesser Known Song, For example tucked away on a album that is better than the more well known songs?.

I would post a link but I don't know how

"Something" by the Beatles. Its a George Harrison song on one of their later albums called Abbey Road and although not well known like some of their classics its a very good song.

I am a massive Beatles fan and one of my favourite songs of theirs is For No One from the Revolver album. A haunting McArtney melody with a french horn solo played by Alan Civil. A beautiful song.

If you've never listened to "Something" give it a play as I think you'll like it

I’m not sure any Beatles track can be regarded as lesser known but love “In My Life”.

Led Zep..”Thank You” off Led Zep2 is another particular favourite that goes under the radar.

I don’t think of it as lesser known, probably because it’s my favourite Bowie album.

But from the same album I’d like to offer Time

I was only messing about. If you want a really obscure Beatles song try "Working Class Hero". Think it was the B-side to "Penny Lane"

I got to the age of 55 without ever hearing or even knowing about Eno’s Ambient 1 Music for Airports. My kid introduced me to all that ambient and slow stuff.

I think others would like it if you don’t know it and like something chill.

There's a track on David Bowie's best of album called "The Man Who Sold the Earth". I only heard of it cos one of the 90s American grunge bands covered it but if you like songs like "Rebel, Rebel" and "Starman" give it a listen

Also covered by Cilla Black ;)

My personal favourite lesser known Beatles song is Things We Said Today.
Hauntingly beautiful song, always seems out of place in amongst their earlier stuff.

Is there a “beamish” moment going on here that I don’t know about?

“The man who sold the world” by Bowie, and it was covered by LuLu not Cilla, wasn’t it?

Anyway, 11:59 and hanging on the telephone from Blondies parallel lines album…. Best known for heart of glass and Sunday girl.

Out in the street and point blank from Springsteen’s the river, better known for the title track and hungry heart.

Wait and see from Stiff little fingers album nobody’s heroes, better known for the title track and tin soldiers.

I’m going for two Bowie songs. I was never really a fan but knew all the hits and one or two others. I was introduced to these by my wife who is a big fan. Bewlay Brothers and Five Years. I know Bowie fans will know them well but going off the fact that I hadn’t Noticed them before I’m assuming others may not have too.

Creedence Clearwater Revival’s album Cosmo’s Factory had 4 singles on it -the better known “Up Around the Bend” and Run Through the Jungle” but also the excellent “Travellin’ Band” and “Long as I Can See the Light”
